Heard on the radio this morning(so it must be true:sarcasm:)that Dave Stagg was spotted having lunch with Rod Reddy and Dave's kids had Eels hats on. Might be BS but would make sense that the dogs release him to free up cash for Pritchard. Would be a great addition to our 2nd row next season if it's true.
Ridiculous if true. Too many backrowers. Hopefully it's just another "we're talking to Paul Whatuira" moments

would love to have david stagg here, if we are talking him then that must mean the dogs are looking eastwood coming back for sure.

Stagg is another tackle machine. Do we really need another? Waste of money IMO unless they are going to release Ben Smith or something.

I'd much rather him than Matua. Let the Tigers have him. We really could do with another workhorse 2nd rower like Stagg to take some of the load off Hindy. In my opinion Hindy was playing his best footy when we had Glenn Morrison in the side.

Stagg??? we would than have hindy-smith and stagg who are nthing more than work horses. It would leave our front rowers working to hard to make meters...
Not a good idea IMO.We need ball players or tackle busting rampant second rowers.
Reni would slot in ok.I think te mari and lassalo also can be moulded for this role. But no more workhorses.
I like penriths pack
13Lweis-Workman like and ball player
12prichard-rampant tackle breaker
11waterhouse-offloads-makes yard-bust line-makes tackles

If Jodeci is on the money (and I'm sure you are buddy) that means that Reni would only be able to commence training with team from approx round 8 2011. It would not be unreasonable then to assume that after 2 years lay off that he'll be with Wenty for 2/3/4 weeks until he gets a spot in FG.

Reni is physical exercising (not training) with Eels players --- not a problem. He can start Physical Exercising wherever he wants or with whomever he chooses, that's unless the law sees him as a slave and not as a sovereign free man.

Training: The term training refers to the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies as a result of the teaching of vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful competencies. It forms the core of apprenticeships and provides the backbone of content at institutes of technology (also known as technical colleges or polytechnics). In addition to the basic training required for a trade, occupation or profession, observers of the labor-market[who?] recognize today[update] the need to continue training beyond initial qualifications: to maintain, upgrade and update skills throughout working life. People within many professions and occupations may refer to this sort of training as professional development. Wikipedia

Physical Exercising: Physical exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health or wellness. It is performed for various reasons. These include strengthening muscles and the cardiovascular system, honing athletic skills, weight loss or maintenance and for enjoyment. Frequent and regular physical exercise boosts the immune system, and helps prevent the "diseases of affluence" such as heart disease, cardiovascular disease, Type 2 diabetes and obesity.[1][2] It also improves mental health, helps prevent depression, helps to promote or maintain positive self-esteem, and can even augment an individual's sex appeal or body image, which again is also linked with higher levels of self-esteem.[3] Childhood obesity is a growing global concern[4] and physical exercise may help decrease the effects of childhood obesity in developed countries. He has been keeping fit in Thailand anyway, but that's go nothing to do with both match fitness and getting used to the impact of the sport. Then you have combinations, moves, defence drills etc.

True. But unlike Stagg, Morrison was a threat in attack - Morro could attack as well as tackle.

Best signing we made in the last decade IMO.

A guy rang up and said St. George's Ben Hornby is still unsigned. Apparently they are chasing Cooper Cronk, and if they are to sign him, they will offer Hornby a small deal to be a relief hooker for Nathan Fien.

So, if it's true, two things:

(1) Potentially we could pick up Hornby?
(2) Forget about Cronk - sounded like a nearly done deal.

Hornby is listed here (which is very reliable) as being signed to end 2013.

So I'm calling crapola.

People laughed at the "other site" when they said that we had signed Bradford prop Chris Feather (mate of Burgess) who has been out for a while with injuries and playing his way back to match fitness on the Central Coast.

The same gains and losses site has him listed with us until end 2011.
