Obviously.
You're right, your ordinary literacy doesn't indicate that you're dumb, it's more the crap that you post on here.
Sometimes I think you're funny but it's more a thing of laughing at you than laughing with you. You think you're much funnier than you actually are.

As for this, I wouldn't fit but if that's what floats your boat, go for your life.

I don't normally mind you that much but when you start a post calling me a f**kwit without warrant you lose credibility in my eyes.

Sorry I guess im just wired a little different than most.

As for my credibility goes I leave that for my work. Not football forums.

By the time they're in under 20s it's too late - the best ones are locked up by the clubs with the best 'academies'. You get the odd smokey (like Radradra) but otherwise you need to sign these guys no later than SG Ball. The Dogs poached David Klemmer in 2009 - when he was 15. This is when you need to sign your future first graders. Not wait until they are playing first grade and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Eventually you have to pay them what they're worth but if you get them early you at least have the advantage with retaining players. If junior recruitment wasn't so important the Storm and Roosters wouldn't spend so much money on it. If you're only ever signing first graders instead of producing your own you're behind the 8 ball.

As for Albert Kelly, he played for us in '09 and the Sharks in 2010. You've got no idea Hindy11, and your opinion is worthless.

Well if the Roosters and Storm didnt spend any money on junior recruitment they wouldnt have any players. It's not as if they have junior leagues of endless potential first graders to choose from in their own backyard.

So should we spend less on junior recruitment and hope the Roosters and Storm (or any other club) don't sign any players from our area?

Maybe we should ask them nicely.

Yep, I also think we should drop out of the Junior Rep competition. Maybe give all of our players to WA Reds? That way we can let other teams develop them and then we pay $300k to get them back, sounds like a good plan.

He does raise a fair point though. It's essentially become an arms race thanks to clubs that lack a junior catchment.

If no club paid for junior talent there would be no need for us to do it either.

I don't follow junior reps that closely but how have the consistently strong nrl teams (manly, storm, roosters) gone in the Harold mats sg ball and under 20s over the same period their first grade teams have been successful (say 10 years)? We have often done well in matts and ball but struggled in the 20s and also struggled in first grade. How do we compare?
