Blake Austin seems to have maintained his form even all owing for the Miniscule Muppet Factor. Always rated that kid.

That's only what has been speculated by media who believe we're going to re-sign Sandow. We're also interested, supposedly, in Johston and there's always that lingering talk of Izzy.

A bit of a flawed arguement considering 9/11 teams we have played at ANZ during the last 3 years were finalists, and 4/11 (36%) of them were grand finalists.

So we traditionally play strong teams at ANZ and we are more likely to play weaker teams at Pirtek.

Looking only at last year 2/3rds of the teams we played at ANZ were grandfinalists, whilst we only played 1 game against GFists at Pirtek last year (11% of games), and 44% of games at Pirtek were against teams who missed the finals. I would hope our Pirtek record is better than our ANZ record given the teams played at either venue.

Good analysis but we still need to win no matter where we play.

Sure, but we've signed Foran, are saying that we would like to re-sign Sandow, and that leaves Norman where? Fullback seems to be the obvious option, coz he's not a centre. I hope we do go after someone like Johnston, and I guess if we do we can offer unders to Sandow and let him choose where he wants to play.

Sezer at $500k doesn't really seem out of wack compared to that.

Sezer is a really interesting signing for the Raiders. They obviously have Austin there for another couple of years after this one and they apparently have a fairly big rap on Mitch Cornish developing into a good half, although he is off contract. They have both Sam Williams and Josh McCrone on the books for next year also. You would have to think that they will not re-sign Cornish now, the one they have the biggest raps on...

Plus, he's safe under the high ball, and a strong runner.

At the very least, he could play fullback for a year or two until French is ready.
