I thought she was suing him in defamation!
The victim may well be relying upon a tort that harms there reputation but for the most part know one knows who the victim is so causing damage to her good reputation may limit the damages she may otherwise be seeking.
The norm in defamation cases is for high profile persons in society, well known, high earners whose damage to there reputation means there earning capacity is significantly reduced as a consequence to what has been said ir written about them.
I would have thought her claim for damages was more based on some form of physical, emotional, psychological damage which impacts on her quality of life either now or in the future.
