I am OK on a loan with Miller.

Loan only, give him some first grade, if required, comes back.

Dogs are no threat, this is who you loan to.
We took the risk with him, we chose to develop him, we thought outside other teams models.
The Dogs are showing that they cannot develop anything.
f**k them.
Always remember what they did to Sludge and Mark Wakefield.
Really. f**k them.

Buying everyone and failing. It’s beautiful to watch. Mahoney and Kikau must be reconsidering.

It just goes to show trying to buy every prominent free agent on the market just because they are high profile is not the smartest plan. Especially when a lot of them come with big character red flags.

The Bullldogs have lost their identity in a big way. The Steve Folkes coaching era was for the main part about developing quality juniors. Now it’s the scattergun approach by being in the market for everyone and quickly getting their salary cap bent out of shape time and time again.

Canterbury have tried this once before. Signing big name players on huge money hasn’t worked for them before and it’s failing again

Last week Dogs were chasing Munster, every week it's a different player.
Next week Gus will be having lunch with Ponga, they are in panic mode.
I like to see couple clubs come 1st November start chasing Burton he is at dogs for only 2 years and this one is shocking

Agree with Ozzi time for a real coach to put some structure into the place. I can’t see Gus putting up with the current shyt fot much longer. He’s shown before he can be ruthless with coaches.

Seems we are close to announcing Nikora/BHU. Really wonder who will be next after them

With Berrell, Fifita, Graham, Hiroti, Hunt, Moyza, Pele, Tolman and Williams left. I wonder if they move early on Moyza for another 12 to stop any potential disruption/distraction later in the year. I'd happily give him another 12 months on similar money based on what I have seen the first 5 games. He turns 31 in june which is weird because it feels like he has been around forever. Other than that Williams I'd like to keep the rest can go.

They got it ass about. Stop getting players and get a coach. Then good players will want to come. I’ve seen this work before I just can’t recall where exactly.
They need a draft a years end for the coaches in the bottom 8.
Any year when the warriors are being praised due to the efforts of the Coach Brown - there is something wrong.
Not sure how long Barrett can continue. Idiot

Lock in Williams next

Tolman and Fifita whilst I assume they wont be kept leave that for later in the year, no one is going to be signing them, well maybe the Dragons.

Graham I doubt will go to another NRL club so we dont need to rush that one either.

Wouldn't be against keeping Moylan another year but his history of injuries makes me think we need to start planning for life without him, whether that's Trindall or Rivett I'm not sure. Rivett is probably a few years away still.

I think it’s Fifita’s , Tolmans and Grahams last season with us. A lot of experience potentially going in one year but we need open up spots on the roster for emerging talent and for another prize recruit or two.

Moylan could get another 12 month extension. Williams will depend on money he is asking and his form this season.

The rest a real toss of the coin what the Clib will do.

I'd extend Miller for sure. Has a lot of the Moyzas about him, but much faster and less injury history. Moyza goes down he can sub in with as little disruption to the team as possible.

I hope Steve Price is under contract for a bit?
Not sure if he wants it but surly he would be up the top end of the list for the number of jobs about to come on to the market.

Think he signed a 2 year deal with us.

Not sure he's that high up, think there's way more than him in front for the next gig.

Bigger risk might be if Flanno gets a gig and wants Price to come join him imo.

No bigger F U than a loan player.

We have more talent than you, we can loan you a player, as he cannot get a run in our firsts, but is better than anything you have.

He gets first grade experience, we lose nothing, not about the bulldogs, about improving our player, who can be recalled at any stage.

I get what you are saying, and agree in principle, but in this case I think the Dogs are an absolute rabble and far more likely he would come back a worse player than if he stayed.

I also think he will get a go at some stage soon, and if he can reproduce even half what I've seen on the highlights reel he will be very had to leave out.

If he gets loaned to them he'll have a new nick name, "Ciggy", as in, Cigarette. They will stunt his growth.

I am sure we will lose couple of players to Dolphins for sure of those off contract.
Moyza is interesting one, the way he is going would offer him 1 year extension but nothing more.
The half wouldn't mind us looking at and wouldn't be big money is Tavita-Harris from Warriors, not sure how Trindall is developing.
We have Miller there as well, but I think would be handy replacement for Moylan if he was to leave.
More crucial is signing of Uele and Nikora get that sorted, and then looking at Dykes and Rivett if they are in Fitz long term plans
