This is madness - if he’s on form, he’s easily our best prop, easily…..

This is the problem. We see too little of that.
He has it in him, as we've all seen.
Just doesn't deliver often enough for a senior, "pack-leading" player.

It's a make or break year for him IMHO.
Late 20s, 100 games under his belt, 7th full season as an NRL player.
If he can't perform consistently at this stage of his career he never will.

For me, the past couple of seasons he's Been Highly Underwhelming.

He has had good stints but never backed it up all game or week in week out. Believe Fitz will be picking forwards who can can get a 7 1/2 of of 10 all game every game over a player who can give him half a dozen 10/10 stints but lets him down with trash at times.

I said it last year, BHU is a momentum player.
When he strings games together he gets better and better. He's had so many injuries over the last few years that he's only been able to have that momentum a few times.
If he gets a full season in he'll be a killer.
Agree with this...both injuries and suspensions have cruled him this past couple of years. Needs a good run of luck and we'll see the best of him.

I'd largely agree with you, but played the first 9 rounds last year then missed 2.
I wouldn't think that is enough to lose too much match conditioning.

He was then out for rounds 19, 20 and 21, so uninterrupted from rd 12-18.
Admittedly we had two byes in there, but if he's putting in he should still be up to some level of fitness.

Then he had the last 6 weeks straight.
I would have expected him to be firing towards the end of that but he was a powder puff.
I asked it week after week at the time - what's going on with this guy? Is he carrying? Unwell?

I'll give him the slightest benefit of doubt, but pharque me he needs to show me what he's got.

Injured a medial in Round 9 versus Cowboys. Hip drop by Nanai who got 4 weeks as it was a bad one.

Supposed to be out 4 weeks, came back in only 2 weeks, underdone. Injury probably understated.

Rib injury, cartilage I think. Came back early again so at this stage playing on a bum leg with sore ribs. Knee required off season surgery. Didn't start running till early January 2024.

Played busted. Yeah, so many do and cope better but he didn't.

I think there's a lot of BOTD for TPP to be fair. Too early to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I think he (Uele) is out most skillful, big man. He is a prop just coming into his prime.

Nikora is our best forward.

We play a hooker at lock, so what does it matter, another long painful year ahead.

He's got Turf Toe. Cunovan injury. Will carry it into this year too apparently. What about Mark Carroll having his toe chopped off to deal with it?
Trouble with turf toe is it's very restrictive especially if it's grade 3...which I'd assume it is. Poor Toby would have spent the off-season in the gym. I had a grade 2 back in the day and that f**ked me up for over a month. Know a bit about both turf and camel toe.
