Listen, I am far from a TPJ fan, wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole either - but if needed one of TPJ or Schuster to play a game that my life depended on, I’d choose TPJ every single time.

That's not much of a choice to have to make haha

Do the Donkeys have the Thoroughbred Club still up and running?

Just asking for an older half back mate of mine.

I wouldn't think Fitz would go near this family of entitled twats. Noticeable that the older brothers are not saying anything. Leaving it all to the baby brother. Weak dog Salmons

Didnt they suffer a huge blow to leadership when some went to Africa to try and move some operations there due to Qld govt actually trying to tax companies for taking minerals and oil out of Qld, soil ? Nasty accident and serious casualties ensued . Cant remember much more about it . .

Ok Is this anything that might make it into my trusted news source of Sky news ? I do like to know im hearing The "TRUTH"

I don’t post on the forum alot over summer. And seeing posts like stake suggesting we sign Schuster is why. I detox from horrendous and abhorrent suggestions between Oct and Feb. I’ll be back for the
well That's all well and good. But now I am Scared shiteless of Schuster ripping us a new one when we play the mainly fairies. We need a witch doctor to protect us from this stuff!

Rawlings is desperate

May offered to two Sydney clubs as negotiations ramp up

While the Canterbury Bulldogs may have pulled out of the race to sign Sydney Roosters' forward Terrell May, it doesn't mean he is a lock to remain at Bondi.

The Roosters prop has made it abundantly clear that he will sign anywhere from the start of his next deal, where the club also signs his brothers Taylan and Tyrone.

While the brothers want to play together from the start of 2025, it's unclear at this stage whether any team in the competition has the desire to sign the May brothers as a package deal.

The Roosters are believed to be keen on retaining Terrell and could now make a play for Taylan as well, given Joseph Manu's reported move to French Rugby is all but set to happen.

Regardless of that, the young prop, who had a breakout 2023 and played a major role particularly in the finals for the Roosters, has recently signed with new management, and News Corp is reporting that his new manager, David Rawlings has reached out to both the Cronulla Sharks to St George Illawarra Dragons to understand if there is interest in the powerful youngster.

The Canterbury Bulldogs had also shown interest but bailed on the process this week with things moving too slowly.

The Sharks would be a seemingly unlikely destination for May, given they have already signed Addin Fonua-Blake to join the New Zealand Warriors for the 2025 season and beyond, but the Dragons could be a likely new home.

Shane Flanagan has been desperate to rebuild his new sign, making plenty of plays for off-contract players, of which few have been successful thus far.

The need for new stocks in the forwards has been well established, though, given the Red V chased Addin Fonua-Blake, made a shock play for Jason Taumalolo and are believed to be going after Heilum Luki and Kulikefu Finefuiaki.

It's believed the Roosters will still have the first opportunity to retain May's services heading into 2025.

Exactly. I get that it’s a sellers market when it comes to props at the moment, but if he really is being serious about the whole brothers piece, then we should absolutely be telling him to go get F’d. Hopefully, it’s not a genuine negotiation point and it’s just him speaking off the cuff on some podcast and his comments have been taken as gospel by the media and they’ve just run with it. (I believe it was first mentioned on a podcast).

Based on last years form, he’s worth decent coin. The Penrith brother is decent too, but we don’t need him. Tyrone is garbage, and the biggest nob of them all.

The fact we are talking about Terrell May being a top free agent for 2025 in feb 2024 is yet another reason the player transfer system is totally f**ked. AFB wasn't on the market but puts himself on there and 4 weeks later is a Shark. It is ridiculous. May is barely in their top 17. Look at the Tracey fuss.

Flanno should pay the May brothers. That Penrith winger/centre is way better than anything they have and the real prize I reckon. Terrell would be a walk up NRL player there so getting 2 first graders at the cost of the f**khead in France has Flanno written all over it. Also chasing Lolo. Flanno moves!

Also the fact we have been linked in the papers by his manager to us tells you everything you need to know about our interest.

Talking about 2025, so we already accept 2024 is maybe finals, where we lose.

You lot are probably right, 2025, that is our chance.

I have reservations about 24, but I was waiting until the official 2024 Predictions Thread started before voicing them.
And I refuse to add weight to that stupid Horo thing going on.
