He is solid but love it or hate it we have committed to Nicho in the half’s long term and I’m not 100% sold on Tricky play style next to him.
The $700+ figures floating around are too big a risk imo.
$550-$600k is the absolute limit I’d go.

Would the NRL register a contract for Tricky at $550-$600k though? They don't put a value on a player till a contract is submitted for review and I reckon they'd value him higher.

Make it 1 year extension to prove it works should get passed the NRL and gives him the option to prove he is a $800k player

I reckon they would....it would practically double his current contract. My biggest concern is Flanno offering overs for Tricky and or Brit. He's gotta have some coin up his sleeve after offloading Hunt but a good chunk will go on Gutho. Roosters are a bit of a concern too considering the cattle they've lost. Will be interesting to see how much loyalty some of these guys show to us should they field some bigger offers. Would still back Mooney and Fitz to keep the players they want though we're bound to lose a couple of second teir guys.
