Hunt and Williams going is a good start to freshening up the squad, whilst I don't dislike either they are both close to 30 and both have about 4 games a year where they really rip in and the rest are a combination of meh and crucial errors.

I don't begrudge either of them a decent pay day but I'm glad it's not here.

Some harsh judgment of Hiroti, he is never going to be a star but you need to balance out the squad.
He is minimum contract, experienced can cover multiple backline positions as our 3rd or 4th choice for a game or 2.
If our rookies step up and out top line don’t get injured he doesn’t play.

Also it enables players in the Jets team to have an experienced NRL player there most weeks which would help there development

I like Williams. He's a good metre eater in the middle during his stints.
Yeah he does have a howler in him with his hands, in general I like him as a player.
But
I'm a big fan of JC, he has "it". He would have been a regular in the 17 if not for injury. If I had to choose between the two it would be JC every day of the week
Jack will be good at Parra, I wish him well.

Good luck to Jack... Always gave a wholehearted effort and played above his weight albeit with cock-fingers. Onwards and upwards. Looking forward to seeing Tuks getting more Gametime next year and playing off the back of AFB. Think Fitz held him back a bit this year as he had done previously with both Tricky and Iro. Happy to back Fitz's judgement on when these guys are ready for top grade.

Shame to lose Jack but as they say you can't keep them all.

With AFB and BHU back in the top 17 he may very well not have made the side every week next year.

He had some good years, only a year or 2 ago I think he was our best forward but unfortunately he missed consistency and better handling to take his game to the next level. I certainly hope he's able to find it at Parra he seems like a good dude.

Very interesting. Finucane, Williams and Hunt gone from the middle from round 1 to now. I wish Williams well. He won me over with his work in D but those hands have been costly. I honestly wonder if the decision was made after he was brought on with 3 minutes to go, drops the ball and they score. Classic Jack but it will be strange to see him at another club.

Great chance for JC to grab a spot. People have been wanting a freshen up to the squad and its happening. I don't expect a sugar hit outside of AFB. Develop JC and the others in the lower grades. Jack was the smallest of the bench so will be interesting to see if we end up going with something like Toby, Tuku, Hazo and Sifa. Get BHU farrrken fit.

Well it leaves our forward depth a little thinner so I wouldn’t be surprised to see another middle added. I’m going to assume Kaufusi will be re-signed so we’ll have….
