but on a serious note, there is too many backs at the club presently, we'll likely have guys like David Milne, Justin Carney and Drury Low, who would be in FG at other clubs playing in SL. Fitz doesnt fit a need here and i cant see the club going after him.

Brisbane are believed to have all but finalised deals with Test props Ben Hannant (Bulldogs) and Petero Civoniceva (Penrith) to return home, and they will have enough money left under the salary cap to also buy a quality outside back.

Kearney made a comment today on radio that some of the Storm boys "could" be heading to the Warriors.

Warriors have been linked with Blair and Lima since this whole mess started so it's probably just more of the same from that rumour.

I am wondering however if some of the Storm boys feel that Kearney won't be far behind them in going to the Warriors. If results continue then Cleary won't be hanging around for much longer.

The Warriors were reportedly 200k under this season as they were waiting to see what happened with Inu. On top of that Price, Tate, and Luck are all off contract and are reported as 3 of the Warriors top 5 earners so if they're not re-signed that's a fair bit of coin.

Wouldn't mind Mateo at the Warriors, but not for that sort of money, so I hope on that basis he doesn't take it.
