We would have to find him a place close to training. He obviously wont be driving alot...

Sign him up and I'll chip $20/week towards his driver.

Don't agree BOS, not a good gamble at all for 300k. Who ever takes him, with the exception of the Storm are taking on a gamble I consider having 10 to at best 20% chance of success in my opinion considering how badly he has performed.

What I think many people here have either forgotten or never noticed at all, is Blair even at the Storm had periods in his career where he just was plain lazy and went missing. But the Storm being the Strom, if you have ability, will force even a lazy player into playing to his ability. We at this stage definitely are not the Storm.

I reckon 300k out of a 6.3million cap is ok. But one does need a crystal ball.

It's also fairly ridiculous to go easy on him.

In a game where attacking success is very closely linked to speed of dummy half service, you'd have to start wondering. Especially when you consider that since he debuted, we've only made the semi finals once, and we were going like bustards that season until his minutes were halved and a 'quick service' dummy half shared the time.

It's not all his fault. But what is his fault, is his fault.

Your more or less saying that Parra is 1 hooker away from fixing their problems which is idiotic. He is one of many problems.

The club has plenty of units in the block next to the leagues club, no worries.

it will also only be a short walk from his big nights out at the leagues, they might need to reopen Kicks though.

As a real question , do we really need another front rower as good as he is?

Backrow, hooker and winger seem to be the most need, no sense spending big when we have other positions that need covering big time.

It's a pretty good point. It's the main reason IMO Dugan didn't have much bargaining power.

Most sides have top class fullbacks and couldn't justify the expense and / or risk.

No one gave a rat's arse about his offence in light of his ability.

Many teams would be interested in tamou I reckon

Mind you he's been well down on form this year, especially in origin IMO

Might be more issues

Exactly. Just because he's better than the guys we've got doesn't make him a good signing. The fact is if we brought him here he would make redundant one other front rower who is also on first grade money. That's a poor use of the cap.

As you say, we need to fix the areas where we are weak...

Backrow, hooker and winger seem to be the most need, no sense spending big when we have other positions that need covering big time.

I agree we need a winger, hooker and a right edge forward. The rest of our team is settled for 2014.

Unless we shift Loko or keep Maitua, then we need Gareth Hock next year.

Even though he would improve our pack, we don't need Tamou because we have signed Mossop and re-signed Allgood. That's five props already on good money (along with Lussick, Mannah and Moimoi).

Yes you're right. Truly an astute reader of the forums. I clearly said that everything is Keatings fault. It was particularly clear when I said this:

It's not all his fault.

Somehow I'm failing to see how I'm an idiot on this one.

And we are a [quality] hooker away from drastically improving our attack.

I wouldn't be giving any away to him lol.

But as Delboy and Pou said, there are other positions that need to be filled before we buy another front rower on good coin.
True, looks like we picked up Mossop after we missed out on big Jimmy. But still you would have to think about the option of picking him up. Fui has only one more year left in him and Mossop or Darcy could play 2nd row at a pinch.

And to add to this 5 props we've also got Junior Paulo, Fraser Musinumua and Daniel Alvaro who will move into the FT squad next year... That's 8 props already on the books plus Terapo who's played most of his career at prop.

I want to ask another question that nobody gives me a decent answer for: is he that good? Seriously - what do people see in him? He's huge and has good foot-work at and before the line, but I rarely see him ran straight and hard or use his bulk effectively. I honestly don't see the fuss. I thought he was outplayed by his fellow props in Origin I.

Oh definitely. We just don't need him imo.
