The thing you need to remember is that Mossop is an England international. Sure, he's an unknown, but the signs are positive, surely?

Then the "rest of the bunch" consist of
Allgood - a decent 5th prop at any club IMO. Plus props tend to 'mature' later in life - he's not old yet, might still turn into an above average prop forward at NRL level.
Paulo - NSW U20s rep this year [sure, that might not mean anything long term - but good sign early]
Pauli - looks like an engine of go forward at just 18 years of age.

the 2 young blokes could be anything. They're complementing an English forward, a damaging wrecking ball, a fringe NSW prop, and Lussick (couldn't think of a trendy term for him).

I think we're well served there. Hooker and 2 average wingers would make a massive difference.

The King Of Crunch(ing tackles)? The Sultan of Swing(ing Arms)? The Ayatollah Of...

BREAKING NEWS:

We've signed boom young New Zealand backrower Jaedyn Tongarockasamoa (from Auckland). I think he turns 17 next month?

Should be in the papers soon.

"I feel the need. The need for speed."
We need some speed outwide and i mean lightning fast finishers that when given good ball by Loko, Morgan and Hayne have blistering pace to burn.

You gave it a shot

I am a big Lussick fan!

As for Tamou, I wouldn't be unhappy if we nabbed him, but I don't see the fuss with him tbh.

And we may be a decent chance of getting him if the Cowboys sack him - Ricky Stuart is a fan, and there was a headline in Big League a few weeks back saying he was very close to signing with the Eels...

And to add to this 5 props we've also got Junior Paulo, Fraser Musinumua and Daniel Alvaro who will move into the FT squad next year... That's 8 props already on the books plus Terapo who's played most of his career at prop.

Daniel Alvaro? Really? Must be cheap.

Are they cutting the other backup props from the fulltime squad? And do you know of any other players graduating from NYC next year?

Also, do you know the contract status of Dockar-Clay, Moeroa and Tepu-Smith?

Well the back up props as it stands are POH, Eisenhuth, Matt cross and lassalo... All very replaceable and likely not to be there...

As for clay, he's got another year in NYC and I'll try and find out the coñtract status of the other 2 mentioned..

I agree we are going to have a heap of props next year but is the quality really there?

Once Mannah and Fui go off we lose so much go forward, Lussick run's it hard but I'm not sold on Allgood at all tbh. Depends on how good Mossop is gonna be really.

It's not their fault....just ask OMC it's all Keating!!!

It's not all Keating, but he is a massive part of the problem. That and our weak as piss backrow who wouldn't knock the skin off a custard. Not including rookies Peni and Kelepi.

Our best backrower is a 19 yr old kid who has played about 6 games, the Tigers have one of the weakest packs in the comp and Ryan couldn't get close to their top side and here we have Ryan as a starting back rower, Says it all really.

Is Matt cross even with the club thought he had moved on and now playing for batemans bay in country footy

If POH continues on with his form from last week and builds on it , I would offer him a basic contract. He looked good last week, was ready to offload a few times but had no support. I think he may be ready to fulfil his potential, just hope it aren't somewhere else other then with the eels as don't want to read articles about how we let him go.

Interesting to note him and peni are the same age yet peni had a few years with no expectations yet POH did and we are all now on the Peni bandwagon after a few games. POH may have needed some time like peni to develop his game in nsw cup and build up his body before debuting.

The Tigers' pack was very good at the time they let Ryan go. And he is a backup here as well - he's not in our injury free top 17.
