lassalo,Sio,vaivai,mullaney

Surely Lassalo is one of the 12. Ive only ever seen 11 names listed in the paper. The issue that he has been out injured all year and he is not of NRL standard I would say he has become a forgotten man.

Who is Vaivai?

Lasalo is off contract at the end of the year and won't be renewed.

We are looking at either John Morris or Kingston at this stage for next year.

Mullany re-signed last week....

Mullaney would be on minimum wage and is realistically just here to play at Wenty and fill in for Hayne when he gets injured or plays Origin. I dont think I would begrudge him a contract given all those circumstances actually.

Although I think he would be handy, I think signing any player who was with the Sharks in 2011 is a massive risk at the moment.

Well of the 17 that played last night only 3 or 4 you would bother keeping. The rest meh!!

I know I'm going to sound like somebody else, but.......you can't have 25 top line first graders in your squad (without cheating). There are some blokes from last night's team who make perfectly acceptable back up players, but you wouldn't re-sign them expecting them to be a regular first grader (Mullaney is a case in point).

Ok Pou ;-), but honestly besides Terepo and maybe Williame can you see any of the others having any sort of future in any other teams???

Honestly, it's the best way to go.

The fastest way to change the culture is to boot almost everyone and start with a fresh bunch.

Phil Gould wrote an article recently that alluded to this. He said you'd be better off starting a new club from scratch than taking over a shit one.

As for all the comments over the past two years about 'the players look like they only just met each other', I suggest the problem was that the players all knew each other too well, and they didn't trust the next guy to do what needed to be done on game day.

i don't mind who we boot .... i'm more worried about what we will replace them with

kids are gonna take years to get competative

we talk about our lack of leadership and the reason ex-eels at other clubs go good is cos they have good leaders around them ..... honestly i don't see any of our kids coming through benefiting from an experience around them .... mannah tries to be a leader, but i reckon you can only expect so much from a prop/central forward/interchange-alot player ..... hayne is getting better but i don't think he'll ever be a great leader ..... we got nothin else and i don't see us buying anything else that will improve us in the next 1 or 2 yrs as far as leadership goes

Someone told me that in the paper today it says that Hayne didn't know he was answering questions from fans last night and tweeted as much and that Edwards and Stuart are fighting......

Sounds awesome, whether true or not, sick of seeing/hearing about our clubs shit in the paper

Hoppas a leader. Regardless of being out of the game for 24 months, he'll still posses leadership.

The Hayne thing was reported in both Telegraph and the Sun-herald. Im sure if you checked out his Twiitter account you could work out if true or not.
