Have you heard anything on Jackson Hastings, rnb? I heard we were one of the clubs scrambling over his signature... and I know he hasn't signed anywhere yet? Realistically I'd say there are probably more attractive suitors as far as clubs go, but with Bennett here you can always hope for a sneaky coup signing, I suppose.

I think Pat and Sione would've overtaken Pete and Chanel in the depth chart by the end of next year anyway, the younger two have a lot more potential (and size).

We have absolutely no need for him. I think we need to accept that unfortunately we still have Boyd on the books for the next two years at least and as a result we don't have room for any more outside backs. Unless we get rid of Gagai, BJ, Aku or Jimmy which is crazy talk.

If we have any cap space left when Bedsy and Gower retire and Nev moves on we should save it IMO as there isn't much on the market and the moment a quality ball playing forward becomes available we pounce.

We don't need outside backs. I don't think it's much of an exaggeration to say that we have one of the strongest 1-5 in the comp.

I've heard this guys name mentioned before. Is he a Kangaroo junior or junior rep? What's the buzz with him? the next Cam Smith ? or just a good first grader ?

I honestly think Clydesdale is the next big thing for us. He is the stand out 20s player. He's the captain, a leader, has a fantastic kicking game. I don't know what Wayne's plans are for him though, hooker is a tough position in the NRL so he probably doesn't want to throw him in the deep end.
