I hope it is too but the practicalities of the situation point against it.

Would he sign a contract before knowing what Bennett doing?

Is he so happy here, doesn't really show it.

Would he sign before knowing who the coach is?

After potentially getting diddled on the TPP, would he do it again.

Don't get too excited just yet. In this interview on Foxsports, Bennett makes reference to helping keep Korbin Sims at Newcastle in the last few weeks.

So maybe it's a contract extension for Korbin, whilst that is good news, I don't know it's what we all expect when we hear "major signing".
