it absolutely benefits us playing Dom. He is by far our best outside back and having him play will help us to win games. Winning games then makes us an option for other players to want to come and play and ultimately improve our side. If we are loosing every week then players won't be interested in playing for us. It is that simple
I don't get all this crap with people on here saying we should drop him to reserve grade. Its cutting your nose off just to spite your face, a very childish attitude.
I feel like most are missing my point.
Lets say I’m watching a Netflix show and there’s another show I’m interested in but it leaves Netflix in a week. If I’m not enjoying the current show then you bet I am going to start the new show to see if I like it or not and maybe finding a way to continue watching it.
Once again. It would be negligent to not develop our own talent and give them NRL experience heading into the 2024 season. Either that or we need to truly figure out if they can rise to the occasion.
Im not saying drop Dom right now. But there may come a point where we have to for the benefit of the future of the club.
What does it say to those within the club fighting for a first grade spot that we are picking Dom who means nothing to us, over them, in potentially meaningless games?
Nothing to do with spite. Once again, just a different philosophy.
