Would take Woods in a heartbeat. Bends the line, strong defender and has an excellent motor. He might not put on massive shots or niggle opponents, but at least he wouldn't give a way a bunch of penalties every week.

Woods being "soft" is the new "Snowden runs too slow".

Discussing him is an exercise in futility for knights fans though as he won't be coming here.

Not many props were as slow as Kade Slowden. I think Woodsy has him covered for speed - just.

I wouldn't say no to Woods but if the reported asking price is nearly a million then another club can have him.

Totally agree, the Saifitis need to find some aggro in their game. They're very young, but they are pretty ploddish with their massive frames.

They can make careers out of what they're doing now, but if they can find some aggression they can be rep players.
Daniel is averaging over 100m a game and over 20 tackles

He's certainly putting in

I'm not saying he's not putting in, I'm saying he could be angrier - and he'd be terrifying if he were. Dan seems to have a very good engine as far as endurance goes for such a young, big unit. Jacob hasn't had as much chance to impress, and seems a fair way behind his brother for whatever reason at this stage.

Cant see any recent comments that aren't aimed at finding a solution to the problem at hand. Everybody is praying for a team we can get excited about again, one that will bleed for the jersey, not meekly surrender. Its hard to be objective & not be a bit over critical, look what being soft has produced in the last few years. Looking at it through rose coloured glasses won't make it better, frustration can wind everyone up a bit, so comments can be a bit harsh, thats the nature of people who are emotionally invested in their team. For the record Marathon Stadium was a great place to watch a great team compete every week, win, lose or draw, the opposition left that ground knowing they'd been in a game, with the scars to show it! P.S I have been reading these forums for a while now, before finally having a say, funny how all the bright ideas dry up when you finally have a chance to say something! Particularly enjoy the comments of Spot On & Perverse, they sound like a couple of guys that have played a bit of of footy over the years.

Yes, I've ultimately thought of the "no negative comments about the team!" brigade as ultimately casual fans, or very stupid. I guess there's the third option of the apologetic abusee in this horribly abusive relationship we call Knights fandom, too.

Either way, not worth the time to argue.

Turton Road was one to spit the dummy over any disappointment shown towards any Knights player but he disappeared around the same time as iqaz did.

Coincidence?
