Not a bad deal given the cap is going up.

I don't think we will go after him now but I wouldn't be bothered if we did. He's had his fair share of shit but I feel that's rife throughout the Easts culture; a change of scenery, even our club and the current culture, would do him some good.

Ok, won't post while this drunk anymore. Except I probably will.

Also $333k wouldn't have been bad for SKD, even though he's a shit merkin. Agreed!

Anyone see Broncos resigned Milford on a 4 year million a year deal, that cap just keeps stretching

Well when you can recruit blokes who are more than happy to earn and live on 85K a season it helps the cause doesn't it.

It's amazing the lifestyle 85k a year can afford a Broncos player as opposed to any other person on the planet earning the same wage. Nothing sus though.

Everything is A OK at the broncs, nothing to see here, move along!

Players do sign for less at the Broncs though, they put on such great lunches, packed with lettuce! Very nutritious.

Dan Saifiti having a great game for Fiji. 100+m and a try with still 15 mins to go. Shows what he can do with a bit of experience around him.

Although a winger isn't high on our needs Jermaine McGilvary is a beast. Could move Ross into centre.

Although they didn't play tonight, Alex Walmsley and Scott Taylor are both great props big boys who would be great pickups aswell

I think you guys could use SKD even if he is in trouble, offer him 900k over 3 years on a deal which pretty much says "If you mess up you're out and we don't have to pay you". As a Roosters fan he is very rocks and diamonds but when he's at his best it's a sight to see.

Heard during the Fiji Vs Tonga game that Tuimoala Lolohea is off contract and trying to impress clubs. He played halfback tonight, made an error or two but looked good with the ball in hand, broke the line once or twice and set up a try as well I believe. Could be a good option at 6 for you guys next year if Hodkinson returns or he could move to 7 for a Lamb/Lolohea combo. I know he's not ideal but he's 22, 50 NRL games under his belt, can kick goals and would more than likely come since he's under the radar (Especially if the Sydney teams chase Cronk)

Don't know who has been re-signed or not but Jacob Lillyman, Russell Packer, Scott Bolton and Tim Grant are all off contract. If you could grab Packer and Grant as a bench option your team would look really solid with something like this:

1. Kalyn Ponga 2. Ken Sio 3. Dane Gagai 4. Shaun Kenny Dowall 5. Nathan Ross 6. Tuimoala Lolohea 7. Trent Hodkinson 8. Josh Starling 9. Rory Kostjaysn 10. Russell Packer 11. Sione Matautia 12. Jamie Buhrer (C) 13. Mitchell Barnett 14. Tim Grant 15. Daniel Saifiti 16. Jacob Saifiti 17. Anthony Tupou

Not an amazing team but definitely capable of making the 8 if key players perform well and the Saifiti twins continue to grow.

There is no chance of the club signing Packer again.
