To be fair it wouldn't be that hard to get himself fired up for a one off game like that. Whereas it would be pretty hard to keep yourself motivated when playing in a losing team every week and you know that you're going to get battered and bashed. Hopefully the game for Fiji helps light a fire under the Saifiti brothers and they come back to club footy fired up a bit.

He also had a bit around him to take the pressure off. Am sure if we had 1 or 2 more big experienced forwards and just gave him a role to play he would thrive and be more consistent.

Poor bugger runs out a marked man every week cause he is our only big man capable of damaging the opposition.

Barry Tooheys Sunday article has indicated James Graham's management has told the club he is not interested in a move next year unless he is told by the dogs he is no longer required.

He is set to earn a mill there next year and word isDes is prepared to move a raft of players on from there before considering Graham. There goes that one.......

At this stage I would take tolman kasiano and Eastwood off them. We need something. Definitely wouldn't pay overs for kasiano or Eastwood though, well maybe a little bit of overs to lure them out of Sydney which we have to do with anyone.

Tolman and Kasiano would both be good buys imo. Tolman is a seasoned pro and would be great with teaching the younger forwards, Kasiano would provide genuine impact off the bench which we haven't had in years.

Eastwood I'm less keen on but if we got him cheap then he could prove to be good value.

Pretty much. Wouldn't be taking Tolman without them contributing though. I must be the only bloke on here who doesn't really rate him - yes better than what we have, but he doesn't bring anything special to the table.

I guess we'll just wait until they release Klemmer.

If they sign Rein to play first grade they've lost the plot. Dragons are a completely different side after punting him for someone competent.

The Dogs player I think we should be talking to is Will Hopoate. Not an area of desperate need but still a massive upgrade on Pete, and probably not far off SKD money as there wouldn't be a huge market for him. Just make sure he will play Sundays.

He is a class player and there isn't much of a market for him. We have mountains of cash and no one to spend it on. He would be a huge upgrade on Pete. Not stupid at all.

Or should we just play further under the cap because we have decided we might as well have bog average backs to go with our shit forwards?
