Im not even kind of hopeful...

He will make more from FOX and wont be risking injury in the commentary box. Its goo the club has spoken to him just incase, but itll be a waste of time.

Between FOX, a telegraph column, a radio spot and a coaching gig, i reckon he'd get close.

And after half a dozen years of being one of the comps highest paid players, i dont know if 2-3 years of a few hundred grand extra would be enough.

The word is we've told Cronk he can stay in Sydney most of the week and come up late in the week to train and play.

Not an ideal circumstance but if we could land him it would be way better than not having him.

I think if we got Cronk we would start to see the best in Lamb as well. He could play second fiddle for a couple of years to one of the best halfbacks in the modern era. Then he'd be ready to take over the team when Cronk retires. It would be a great apprenticeship for him
