Rumoured Targets 3

Klemmer or Jackson would obviously be the best case scenario targets. Graham is more realistic and would be a perfect leader, but I'd only be interested if the Dogs are chipping in on the reported $1m he's owed next year. Not a big fan of Tolman.

Rona would be good.

These are my thought as well. I'd only take Graham if the Dogs were throwing in a huge chunk of his salary.

I like the fact our recruits are coming in bunches from the same club ie 3 x Roosters, 2 x Broncs (maybe Blair) and possibly a couple from Canterbury??

I really hope I'm wrong but atm I have absolutely no confidence that the NRL will fend off the RLPA and bully clubs to settle the cap at approx. 9.2 million. Of course it will be totally unfair to those few clubs who have adhered to the email Brown referred to and have done the right thing for the past year. Will Greenburgh actually punish clubs and screw them over even though that have played by the rules?

Surely that can't happen??? It will be total incompetence if it eventuates.

Won't happen because the club he used to be the boss of is the main club in trouble.

Yates and Fitzgibbons management not happy with length/amount of deals on table. Pete too.

Love Brown and Mooney are playing hardball with re-signing the fringe local guys.

I think Yates needs to understand his ceiling in the NRL isn't that high. In a good, balanced squad, he'd be ranked somewhere in the 25-30 range at most. Because of his work ethic, he might have a career similar to Joel Edwards.

Fitzgibbon has potential to be a top 17 player and should pick up a two year contract with a 3rd year option in our favour.

Just watching the Alvaro try again from the Eels v Dogs game and man, Graham was weak as piss

I'm prepared to put a line through him tbh. He looks cooked

Fitz is on the fringe. I'd re-sign him for two years. I reckon he might attract interest elsewhere. We need to expect that for a number of players.

Agree on both players. Yates just does not have enough impact to be a regular first grader. More due to size than desire and Fitz needs to show more of the last 2 to 3 weeks over a season before I would be willing to sign him longer term.

What we really want is Fitz size and Yates motor. Fitz should get 1-2 years and Yates 1, I thought Yates was already signed for 2018.
Don't see Yates making 1sts in 2018 unless seriously bad run of injuries, he should try to be like Buhrer, play a bit of hooker, become a utility player.

Mbye and Eastwood have been shopped around for months.

Graham is simply on too much money for the player he is now.

Des learnt nothing at his time with Manly?

I hope we keep Fitzy and Yates.

That's hagan like management from the dogs. I'd take Grahame if the dogs paid half his contract.

Be nice if they were shopping klemmer around though.
