Thank f**k we missed out on Blair.
Can not argue with that.
The rest of the recruits looked pretty good.

Guerra's looked good playing on the right edge. Be interesting to see what our first choice forward pack looks like next year.
Honestly i'd be giving Sione a massive off season, and hope he can transition to centre, in the moga mould, might save his career.Yeah Fitzy finished strong there didn't he.
Wonder what will happen with Sione? Can't keep getting knocked out every second week.
I think Sione could go back to centre without too much hassle. It's looking like it'll be the best for the team, too.Honestly i'd be giving Sione a massive off season, and hope he can transition to centre, in the moga mould, might save his career.
Because at this rate he will unfortunately be retired by his 23rd birthday.
The problem with manufacturing them, especially the forward leader... is that I feel like you need a leader or two around to produce more of them.We are exactly that away from being competitive - a marquee and a forward leader.
We are pretty much going to have to manufacture them, as we can't attract them it seems.
Sione's defense was the biggest worry in centers, not fast enough and got beat on outside a lot from memory. I can see him coming off bench next year. Learning a few things from senior forwards.
Also Moga led Metres tonight, and almost single handily won the game for them in the last few minutes, and Guerra racked up 150 metres for the game.
That's a possibility, too. I don't think his speed is as much a problem as his decision making in defense, either. I feel like there a lot of of slower but successful centres in the game. Not that Sione is lightning, especially in his current physical condition.Sione's defense was the biggest worry in centers, not fast enough and got beat on outside a lot from memory. Lillyman averaged 125m a game this season which was actually more than James Graham, he's a noted powerhouse in the gym everywhere he's gone and seems pretty disciplinedKeen on a 33 year old prop? 34 start of next season.
Lillyman is pretty straight up and down. Will hit it up and make tackles. I hope he is cheap. Unfortunately we can't say no it would seem.
I hope we have more in our sights. A lot more.
I think Daniel could easily be a 140m prop next year and I'd like to see Jacob add attacking c factor on the back of that go forwardIf we can get lillyman Dan and Herman all consistently getting 100m+ a game each we will definitely rack up some wins next season.
Don't think we need anymore backs, I'd love to see Sione given another shot in the centres as the concussions suffered over the past 2 seasons are a massive concern plus Nick Meaney and Tom Hughes could easily push for a wing spot next seasonReports that Peta Hiku is heading home for compassionate reasons. Warriors are the favourites to sign him, but would we be interested?
