Hope we have him, stocks of high quality props available is running low, what we have is ok but more would be so much better.

I was always keen on Lilyman. Probably the safest bet we could have went for. Experienced, a winner and (from what I know) not a merkin off the field. Gotta really congratulate everyone involved with the recruitment this year.

Keen on a 33 year old prop? 34 start of next season.

Lillyman is pretty straight up and down. Will hit it up and make tackles. I hope he is cheap. Unfortunately we can't say no it would seem.

I hope we have more in our sights. A lot more.

Can't say no to what?

This. I thought that was obvious.

We need props and at the moment there aren't any. The much anticipated cap 'squeeze' may provide another prop or two? Fingers crossed.

If we come out of this "cap squeeze" with our current haul, the strategy is an abject failure.

We have picked up some good additions, but ZERO due to cap problems at other clubs.

Teams don't need to be under the cap until Round 1 next year I believe. Still plenty of time for movement.

I don't think any club is in a real jam. Dogs have lost Reynolds, Graham, Lichaa, Kasiano and soon to be Eastwood. Problem fixed???

I'd say Canberra might have a small issue.

No QLD team would be feeling it.

No club South of Sydney (excluding possibly Canberra) or across the ditch would be in trouble. Mlb, Warriors and Drags all good.

That leaves 7 Syd clubs.

Tigers - No.
Parra - surely not!
Rooters - lol
Manly - No

Then.......

Penrith - Moylan affair?

Souths - tight but should get away with what they have. The appointment of a new coach says roster is good enough to play semis next year as is.

Cronulla - some pressure you would think.

Hahaha I love the roosters part.

Agreed, and I'd have to say it's starting to look that way already. I can't see where any players we would want are going to be squeezed out at this point. It'll be a real rabbit out of the hat if so.

The ones we have got are solid pick ups no doubt, but I don't see a marquee anywhere, nor a forward leader.

We are exactly that away from being competitive - a marquee and a forward leader.

We are pretty much going to have to manufacture them, as we can't attract them it seems.

Guerra's looked good playing on the right edge. Be interesting to see what our first choice forward pack looks like next year.
