In your opinion.

Isn't that what forums are for...?

My opinion is if you have it to spend, you spend it on players that will make a difference. Even if that means spending more than you want to... we can't run cap space out on to the park.

We haven't signed any forwards that will make a difference for next year - instead we over-spent on a bench quality player because Brown has a chub for "the Storm system".

Let's at least give the guy half a season with us before judging him. He isn't a superstar but might turn out much better than most of us expect at the moment.

Your right as most seem to expect he will be a failure so if he rates good bench to starter then he is better than expected.
I think he will go alright could be a different type of player in a different system, well at least here's hoping

Don't be such a square, yosh. All the cool kids like to completely write a player off before they even arrive at the club

I completely wrote off Griffin, so will be happy for another Storm bench player to prove me wrong again.

We don’t need Glasby to be anything other than vanilla- as long as he tightens up our middle I’ll be happy.

Not the player we need, but is still an upgrade on what we have. Best assets are his big motor and second phase play.

Woods would be huge for us. Not the fire and brimstone runner we ultimately need, but great offload, good motor, decent defender and gets through a heap of work.

Rumoured to be on 800, if the Dogs will wear 100-150 of that he makes sense for us.

Glasby has something Griffin didn’t - enough of a body of work to prove he is not average.

Is Bellamy renound for continually selecting guys every game for 3 seasons straight when they’re average?

After seeing every opposition team destroy us up the middle week in, week out since I can remember, I’m happy to finally get an average player like Glasby into the squad. Some of it might rub off onto other players.

Woods isn't worth more than 600k. If the Bulldogs carry the remainder 200k for the next year years, then I've got no issue with it.

Glasby averages 21 tackles and 68 metres and we are paying him 465k (25 and 91 last year).

Woods averages 25 and 125 (28 and 162 (!) last year)

If you pay on metres made, we should be offering Woods $850k based on the Glasby scale....
