Are we looking at anyone to replace Levi? The way hes been playing lately in addition to us telling him hes free to go elswhere its only a matter of time before another club picks him up?

Levi has said he'd prefer to stay and the way he's been playing it would be hard to let him leave. Big question is can he keep playing like he is.and improve.or is there anyone better on the market?

With the limited options available, I'd be looking to add Harry Grant for depth at 9.

Brailey is a small upgrade but maybe not worth what it'd cost to get him.

Grant would be cheap as chips with much more upside.

How’s Woolford coming along? It’s good to have him playing out the year in NSW Cup and not getting pushed up into first grade like most of our players the last 5 years.

The little I’ve seen of Woolford does not fill me with glee, Randall seems a better option so for future hooker along with Levi we are looking at Griff getting fit and ready and Huth coming through from u20s

10 min more per game and Levi would be ranking 5th in minutes played among hookers. So not a lot really. He is well down on tackles made and missed which is again most likely stamina. To be fair most ( but not all ) hookers above him in that department are much older.

Levi isnt a whole lot off where he needs to be. Would be nice if he added a bit of a kicking game and improved on some try assists.

Haha Mann has had literally one game this year where he has kicked for us. Admittedly his short kicking game was on point. But let’s just remember this for when he eventually has an ordinary night with the boot and we all rip into him, and call for someone else to play 5/8 for the team.

He's got some sort of short kicking game, was just looking at his career stats. He might develop and is better than Watson IMO Maybe the Knights are the team mentioned for Jackson Hastings ?

Kicking is a point of difference in the stats separating top hookers/sides and bottom ones.

You're right though, saw an interview with Levi and he said Browny had been trying to teach him how "to create holes and put players through and stuff " but after a chat simplified his game and just told him to go out and run.

Maybe we just need baby steps with Levi at the minute.

I'd gladly take Viliame Kikau off their hands because we could do with a specialist strike backrower on the left who can link up with Ponga on attacking plays. Kikau would have a field day running off Ponga all season. How much would Kikau be on?

You're right Yosh disregard my whole post. Always messing up what side certain players are on. I'm clear on our centres but not so much the back rowers.

I think Kikau could play on the right, wouldn't take any of their outside backs, Mansour is on a fast decline, have never understood the hype in Edwards and not a fan of small wingers in any case and Maloney is 34 next year and declining.

Given how well everyone is playing, it now becomes interesting to think about what we need.

I still think our top priority should be a good 5/8. Maybe a destructive backrower after that.

hooker and 5/8 are priorities the rest are foot soldiers.

Mann could progress into a good 5/8 so interesting to see how he goes the rest of the season.

Watson could be a hooker ? he has all the makings of one and just needs time and focus to see how he goes there. His passing is a little slow and off the mark but he has some speed out of dummy half and can tackle the big boys 1 on 1. Could he be the next Bedsy ? was a half and end up being one of the best hookers to play the game.

Other than that I really believe we have a good squad that just needs time to develop. Most havent even cracked 100 NRL games yet so the best is ahead of them.
