Weird how? You just said it yourself - he moved for his daughter, not the club.
He's probably not happy with that selection - but I tee'd off deluxe on Herman for his shit attitude in defense after the Tigers game. He deserved to be dropped and should worry about his own performances.
He was one of our best last year, but that doesn't give anyone an automatic selection the next season. There are very few players in that category... that's Pearce, Ponga, Klemmer and not many others in our team.
I disagree completely. Elite players have their positions locked down. Herman is not elite. Everyone, including the elite, earn their position week-in, week-out pre-season - or not.
I don't know what has gone on behind the scenes for any of these players (nor do you, that much is painfully obvious). I try to judge them based on their output on the field, and the only selection I don't think is justified completely in this week's team is Gavet.
Pretty confident that if King was fit this weekend, Gavet would have the weekend off.
Why do you think he wasn't picked?
