in 1 of those player polls a couple of years ago we were something like 4th? from memory Brisbane, Roosters and Melbourne we above us. Titans were 5th? something like that, we were right up there.

Really? I thought the Sydney teams for sure would be above us.

This was 2020

If you had to leave your club, which team would you want to sign with?

The verdict

The Roosters remain the ideal destination for off-contract players, once again pipping the Broncos and Storm for top spot as they did last year.

The Rabbitohs and Titans dropped out of the top five, replaced by Adam O’Brien’s Newcastle and Des Hasler’s Manly.

Assume the question is no Knights in comp then my next or current side is Penrith, not by recent results though.
Grew up Windsor prior to Penrith being in comp, supported North Sydney due to Ken Irvine, stuck with them until they got kicked out, some guy called Joey was playing, liked what I saw stuck with Knights and here I am , live in Penrith so it’s them if not Knights

Do we really need to look at another half? I reckon Clune and Clifford could work out and we should give them a go.
Cliff is a lock , think he's one of the better young halves going around and will only get better.

Clune, I want to see more of. Only way I'd replace hime if a player becomes available that's got serious X factor. Clune looked good today, very good.

Think we should see how Clune goes he is a mature player, should be at the top of his game, see no reason at this stage to replace him but if a top liner became available we would be silly to not make an offer

Based on yesterdays game from Clune….I would rather save whatever budget we had for Milford or Brookes and spend the money to replace Fitzgibbon

The part I hated was the commentators frothing over how good fitzgibbons line breaks were.

Having a second rower who can run a line is literally the least they should be able to do...

Fitz gets unfairly maligned on here, its what Knights fans do i guess
The derision is more than fair, what Knights fans do is support mediocrity, it's ingrained in the club and supporters for so long it's almost part of the DNA.

Fitz just had a game that is the bare minimum of what we need from a secondrower and ( by some ) he's now being compared to a SOO and Aust quality player - comedy central. :p

Dito Mann.

By who?

You’ve come in arrogant. But you’re also dumb. Not a good combo.
