Prop isn’t the problem, as long as we aren’t putting too much cap into it.

more than happy with our three man rotation (if all are firing of course) if Klem’s cap number comes down - which it is a good shot of doing.

We need three proper first grade back rowers. One of them needs to be a game breaker.

We probably need a 7, and maybe a 9, also.

lots of big gaping holes.

1. Kayln Ponga
6. Jake Clifford
7. Cameron Munster
9. Tom Starling
13. Kai Pearce-Paul/Will Pryce

Looks like a good spine if you ask me. That's not a rebuild spine, that's a run at the finals spine.
You idiot!
It will be 6. Munster, 7. Clifford.

😝

We need a game managing no.7 which is why it’s still a surprise to me that we didn’t have a serious look at Adam Reynolds. He opted to move interstate to a team that going worse than us so it’s not unreasonable to think that he’d have come to Newy for similar money, maybe even less.

Pearce f’d us re Reynolds, Hynes etc.

Dumbass was as reticent on his contract as his kicking game. Left us with no options.

Yep. But the Knights wanted to stick with Pearce.

Reynolds could have done a lot for us.

I hope Zammit works some magic and helps us get both Luki and Nanai down here. Those two look like superstars in the making.
I want to know how Luciano fits in up there..

I'd take any of the 3 tbh. Luciano has been maybe the Tigers best this year. Super consistent and focused it seems.

that's the Knights fault as far as I'm concerned. Pearce was well past it , he should have been tapped on the shoulder season before last.

The Rorters tapped him long ago.

Just another example of the club not being ruthless enough in their pursuit of exellence and a Premiership.

We had all the time in the world to cut Pearce and grab Reynolds. I said at the time he was an absolute bargain when South’s failed to offer him what he wanted.

An absolute bargain compared to Pearce, his lack of skill set and his monstrous wage.

I feel we need an agile type front rower to compliment the 'hard' straight style of the Saifitis.

Looking at the Panthers, Moses Leota or Spencer Leniu would be the perfect compliment.

The game today certainly does suit a Starling type player.

Love the attitude and 1% plays of Brailey, but he offers little to nothing of an attacking threat. Given he was injured for half his last contract it's amazing he got such an extension.

We missed having a crack at Brandon Smith

Starling isn't that good, he's the backup hooker for a team going worse than the Knights.

I'd also like to live in the fantasy land where the Knights just go out and sign players like Munster and Smith. What do the Knights have to offer other than money?
