Hasn't lived up to the hype since his rookie season. I remember Phil Gardner saying they offered Ramien an upgraded deal to stick around after he basically quit on the team, glad he didn't take it.

10 years? Bit harsh there. Mitch scored some cracking tries for us by running the ball in his 1st 2 years herefor us. 1 against Parra i remember as being particularly good

Its certainly faded the last couple of seasons though

Gagai is passion plus to be fair. Kick chase has been spot on. Finucane looks pretty average to be fair.

I kept a keen eye on Finucane, besides taking some tough runs I felt he actually got in the way last night, took too many meaningless runs and got in the way of NSW playing football.

In my opinion I think he is Glasby 2.0 - solid but very vanilla, he doesn't bring a point of difference (e.g. a good ball playing forward), doesn't add to our forward rotation for the price, is in a forward mould that is becoming less relevant in PVL ball, his best years are behind him for mine and he will chew up salary $$$ we need to strengthen the depth in our outside back stocks.

If Obi wants to improve our pack, then I don't believe Finucane does that for us to the level that his salary will chew up

Yep agreed, my issue with Finucane last night (this isn't my overall assessment of him) is that the bulk of his runs were on 3rd and 4th tackle and inside good attacking position, where we really missed D Saf is those tough play 1 and play 2 hit ups from inside our own end.
