Shaping up nicely for next season if we get both Pryce and Kai Pearce-Paul. The question though is where both fit into the squad. Pryce is a fullback or 5/8 and KPP is centre or backrower.

KPP can replace Fitzgibbon.

I’m sorry to say it and maybe I’m being premature here but if Bailey Hodgson can’t stay on the field due to being injured all the time then we should look at another backup fullback like Will Pryce. I think it’s important to keep Tex Hoy out of top 17 as well.

Wigan are wasting him at right centre, but KPP has the makings to be an elite second-rower sooner rather than later. So tall and rangy but so skilful. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders too. I think we'll have a tougher time getting him, I imagine a few other teams will be very keen, but if I could only choose one it would be him.

What’s your take on the SBW comparisons with Kai? He is the closest to being accurate I have seen in a while. Second rower all day.

I thought I read somewhere we were looking at both Luki and Nanai.

I don't think our recruitment has been worrisome at all. I think it's been fantastic and then some the past few years.

i think Nanai will be too expensive as the weeks go by. Great potential but I feel a team like the tigers will give him silly money as theyre losing both Leilua and Tuilagi

Pearce is supposed to be our halfback remember, and there's a few others I've mentioned before.

The recruitment of Gagai, Cliff and Frizell was genius - Clune was an astute signing.

750k is crazy overs for a rookie. Tyson Frizell is an experienced forward who has represented NSW and Australia and I’m pretty sure he’s on less than that with us, last I heard he was on around 600k. I’d rather take a chance on a lesser known talent like this KPP we’re chasing than go into a bidding war with struggling clubs over Nanai.

Jono’s right…350k to 400k to play in a good team or take the big bucks and enjoy getting belted each week with the Dogs or Tigers.

Yeah, he's an absolute gun but wouldn't think a club would throw 750k at him yet (maybe 600k max from a desperate club). 750k is money for a current top-tier and established rep backrower.

If he is willing to take 400k, I would jump right on that.

Nanai will be after $500k a year minimum I think. I won’t be surprised at all if he gets up to $700k.

Last year broncos re-signed a young backower named Brendan Piakura for $400k a year before he even made his debut, Jack Howarth who just re-signed with the storm for $500k also yet to debut. Nanai has actually shown he belongs in 1st grade so he'll get more than those guys
