I think you may be underestimating the club’s reasons for wanting him out. I agree with you. He deserves to stay.

Thats my point. 450k for next 4 years changes the equation for the cap and gives him the security of staying home. If its all about money he will go, but I get the impression maybe family is worth taking a long term view for him.

Reality is he is getting one wherever he goes. He signed this deal as the best prop in the game of close to it.
