just waiting casually to actually see the real state of our cap laid bare for all to see. At least when other clubs get into strife they do it shooting for the stars.
Reading between the lines, I think Tyrone Thompson is in the same boat too.You don't need to wait, they agreed to terms with Schiller months ago but haven't been able to register his contract as they need to move on players to be under the cap in 2025.
Oh that's... interesting. Convincing an established Super Rugby player to come to the NRL on a development deal is quite a coup by our standards.Tyrone is only a development player so no cap issues there
this is true. More importantly to the Knights, how many in our squad have the fierce overwhelming desire to achieve it.I wouldn't say 'poor guy'. That 'poor guy' has a premiership ring, partly due to his efforts in said premiership game. He may never live up to what he did in that game ever again, but at least he's had that moment. How many others in our squad of 30 will ever be able to claim that by the time they retire?
Well that's somewhat encouraging! Is the kid a nepo-baby (I assume he's Brads kid), or can he actually play?Newcastle have signed Matt Arthur from Parramatta on a three-year deal.
The NSW under-19’s hooker will join the Knights from next season after agreeing to become the club’s future no.9.
Arthur’s move to the Knights is in the wake of his release from his 2025 contract at the Eels on “compassionate grounds” following the sacking of his father and head coach Brad Arthur.
The Knights signing of Arthur is problematic given that starting hooker Jayden Brailey and back-up dummy-half Phoenix Crossland are also contracted through until the end of 2025 and 2026 respectively.
It’s reason as to why Brailey has been given permission to negotiate with rival club for next season.
He was U19s hooker for NSW but like 90% of the Parra forums think he is garbage.Well that's somewhat encouraging! Is the kid a nepo-baby (I assume he's Brads kid), or can he actually play?

Someone's gotta go, it's that simple. You can't have 1/6th of your squad tied up at hooker. So what happens if Brailey doesn’t want to move on, besides him Crosslands, Jones R and Davis we now have Arthur, none fill me with confidence to be No1 9 for the season but we have 5 going tor the spot out of our top 30
As they said its not as if there were clubs knocking down the door to sign AOB .....same with a lot of signings, offering fringe first graders long inflated contracts seems too have f**ked the cap......againTallis on 360 tonight asked if Gardner knows what he is doing after he found out about the length AOB’s contract. The entire panel agreed KP’s form had nothing to do with O’Brien. The response from Dave Riccio was that Phil G knows how to run a leagues club. LOL. At least people with some idea think like we do in here. Well most of us.
