That's a given... he's the boo-hoo guy.Rammy will complain
2 mill for 3 years = bargain for norman
Id say Bevan has Gordon and Gutherson infront at moment.
He has Gutherson in front, but I can't see us retaining Gordon. Gutherson would be on pretty good money for next year, so we probably need him to play fullback so we get our money's worth.

6 Normie
7 Foz
9 Seyg
14 Kaysa
I think I can live with that!!
If Gordon said he was happy to stay on a $100-150k deal, would you keep him for one more year?
Ps and there is cap space for it,
No because the only position he is suitable for is fullback, and I don't think we should have a starting fullback worth only $150k, and I think $100k is too much for a backup fullback that can't play any other positions.
Actually maybe his value as a goalkicker makes him suitable for a backup fullback in the top 25.
Send it up the flag poll then.
I think if Gutherson went to fullback, Gordon would be suitable for his wing spot. Reckon he would easily be our second best wing option behind semi. He would also come with the added bonus of being a back up to fill in at full back ( and kick goals)
At $100-150k he would be decent value. What's the average for an NRL player ?

As a winger he would be much less value than even a vai toutai.
Almost all the strengths to his game are as a fullback. As a winger his main attribute would be his strength under the high ball. But sides just wouldn't bomb to him and that would be negated.
I think he is getting less good as the season goes on, and that by next year he wouldn't really be a passable option.
I like him. He's gutsy and works his ring off. Support play is great. But he's our least dynamic back and we'd have to be the only side in the comp you'd say that about their fullback.
Last night a kicker chased a kick and was twenty in front of the rest of the line. Gordon couldn't beat him. I reckon every other fullback in the comp would have.
I think next season would be a bridge too far. If we fade away he may not even be starting fullback by the end of the season.
