I think that's a bit harsh mate. While he was on the field we were sitting at 6/9 and one of the top teams in the competition. Foran has never been a flashy player but for the most part he controls the game astutely and defends well. He was doing his job.

Not now he won't. He will be max, $800K under the cap, the rest will be TPA's.

Maybe I am being harsh but if we knew in advance all these issues, even though its extremely personal would you have signed him for $1.2 million?

We saw what happened when Luke Kelly played first grade. Personally I think Foran is one of the better halves on the market and was worth the risk as evidenced by our start to the season. I think the quality of halves in the NRL is amongst the lowest it's ever been so it's not like we could have done much better. If we didn't have all the salary cap issues and Foran wasn't injured he would have been an important part of this years campaign.

Is there any chance the Eels could get Segeyaro for next season? After watching Degois last night I feel like we could use another option at hooker.

he's been out of the game for 2 years and to put him on the same level as JT is unrealistic imo

Yeah the club should have known he would split with his long time partner and suffer a serious shoulder injury. You're being a tool.

Problem is that IDG is playing 80 mins and Pritchard coming on and doing nothing.
This, however, is due to injuries.

I think they will do alright if IDG comes off after 30 mins. Kaysa comes on without IDG. I didnt like when Peats and IDG were on at the same time because Peats was unable to contribute enough just like now with Kaysa.

2nd half IDG comes back on after 15 mins. When IDG gets tired, his passes are really bad.

Just letting you guys know that Jarryd isn't coming back to Parra nor the NRL so don't get your hopes up. If anything he'll take up an offer with Japanese/ French Rugby.
Jackson Hastings isn't signing with Parra either and as far as I'm aware Michael Gordon is remaining at Parra for the rest of the season.
Lastly, as I posted a few weeks ago, we are signing James Segeyaro for next season and resigning Corey Norman on a 2 year possibly 3 year contract.
It's been a shit few months and I actually feel physically/ mentally exhausted from everything, but as I keep saying to people, surely it can't get any worse.. But unfortunately, it seems to be never ending!

As for Gordon, with all these halves missing we might need French to play in the halves. And obviously Gutherson is needed in the outside backs.

He has suffered with depression before the split. He had a history of injuries for the last two seasons. Dodgy hammies et al. With this history and asking price he is a risk

Please no, we've just got rid of one of the morons to Canberra, and court possibly to result in the other earning a susension from duties until the end of their contract. Last thing we need to do is sign up the third one :crazy:
