Ant Mitchell is the one I've been bringing up a lot in relation to Kaysa. He was in our top 25 for 3 or 4 years as a very young player. Huge wraps around the place, plenty of unhappy fans when he went to NQ if I remember rightly.....NFI what he's up to now but it's not footy

Still playing with Townsville Blackhawks in the Qld cup

Is good service your only requirement for a 9? Peats has no running game whatsoever so I wonder if the trade off between good service for 80 minutes or above average service and a bloke who makes yards out of dummy half is worth it.

He doesn't run a lot, but when he does, he makes good metres.

Ideally, we could get a hooker who is well-rounded - but who would that be?

Cam Smith, Josh Hodgson or Andrew McCullough are the only 3 well-rounded hookers running around atm imo

I'd say apart from a kicking game and a differing injury history there's very little difference between Peats and McCullough honestly.

I'd also say Jake Granville is right up there.

I know it is all water under the bridge - but I will never understand why we just let Foran go. He was always going to offer quite a bit once he got over his multitude of issues.

He would have played last weekend v Canberra for us - maybe even the week before and probably made a massive difference. oh well.

McCullough is a great defender but what else does he do, honestly? Peats is a better attacking hooker.

McCullough is probably the best exponent of the 40/20 from dummy half in the NRL. Otherwise he and Peats are fairly level as attacking hookers. McCullough gets the nod though because has been durable enough to play between 21-27 games a season for 8 years.

Because he was on the books for $1.2M or something stupid. Someone like Thurston might be on the Cowboys' cap for that much, and he is much more valuable than Foran.

Lichia is shit. Whomever rates him has no f**king idea. How many first grade games has he been in? And he's just started to run the ball, lol. Bulldogs supporters pay out in him for a reason, slow distribution and a poor running game.

Pritchard has shown more in his limited appearances than Lichia.

Yeah but I meant what's he doing for a living. Could have been clearer.
Well if he's living in Townsville, probably just living off whatever he got paid in NRL. You don't need much money when you live under the sea

Over 60, and in the past two years he has played finals footy.
And he's just started to run the ball, lol.
Most young dummy halves would be eased into running the ball. The need to develop a feel for the game before they would get the confidence to pick when to run the ball.

They pay out Des Hasler FFS. Footy fans in general have no idea. They can see something isn't working but the majority of them can never pinpoint why. They just pick a scapegoat and stick with him.
Pritchard has shown more in his limited appearances than Lichia.
They are different players, and at about the same level IMO. Lichaa is solid, while Kritchard has some big plays in him.

McCullough is what Matt Keating should have been but never was.
But really ATM you've got Smith, Hodgson & Luke. Even then Smith & Luke are on the decline.
Damian Cook is probably going to be next one into that group, while Farah has well and truly dropped out.
After that Friend, who's cooled off a bit from recent years, McCullough, Granville (asterisk IMO because he plays with JT), probably Peats and maybe Wallace who's on decline but can also goal kick. But none of those guys are worth the money it would take to get them away from their respective clubs, unless Peats really wants to come back.
Then you have McInnes, who may move up, Korisau, Lichaa, Brailey, McIlwrick and whoever the Knights are going to put there.
Really after the first 4 or 5, it's varying degrees of mehness.
So really.... how long until that Schneider kid is ready?

So why waste our Money in Lichaa? Pritchard needs the same time to develop. At this stage I see
More in Pritchards game than Lichaa and Lichaa has played 60 first grade games. Pritchard will come good( not that he's doing that bad ATM)
