If they where eligible......
3 average guys in my eyes and none are that young bar Kutogo. Williams may of just had his career year like Lane in 2022. Let's see if his forms permanent. He turns 29 in a few days.
Kelmas defense is trash. Attacks fine.

We need a strike edge and a better centre more then a 5/8 I think.

Said the edges were a nice group, not world beaters.

Papalli, Hawkins, Volkman, Talitina, Twidle for me alarm bells are ringing.

i know @Suitman has been a big James Graham fan over the years.

But his behaviour while calling a game on MMM was deadset disgraceful on Sunday.

You cant have a bias like that on a neutral call and rights holder broadcast.

It was pathetic.

And i agree his opinion/analysis on the Bulldogs in the past 12 months or so since becoming as a club ambassador has taken the shine off what i thought was a decent analyst.

12-18 months ago i thought he was one of the best in the game.

All full of agendas and bias now & Buzz called him out on it on Sunday during the show.

Graham denied it was the case he was actually shocked the question was asked.

I would have had more respect if he admitted that was the case tbh then pissing around the question the way he did.

I've always liked Graham as well but heard this and thought it was extremely poor form.

We all know Ash Klein is Ash Klein but it was way over the top from Graham. He was f**king wrong anyway, the officials called it 100% correctly... he blew up like it was the worst call of all time.

He let his Blue and White glasses get the better of him live on FM radio. Kids listening to that just think its okay to just smash the refs and carry on like pork chops.

He needs to pull his head in.

2 of them don't even qualify for Origin.

Plus parramatta hasn't been a breeding ground for Origin talent in my time supporting the club.

I liked what Williams and Kelma were producing towards the end of the season. We won a fair few games against good opponents with these two. I can see kautoga coming off the bench in an impact role.

Could our back row get better, ofcourse but I'd be hoping that Latu, JFI or Pretus can break through as opposed to going to market.
I’m sick of hearing Parra fans say “I hope xxx has a big year” or “debuts” next year.

I’m genuinely sick of it. Let’s just buy someone who is f**king good now, whilst we hope juniors cut it for later seasons.

Iongi & Gray have better upside but this season he was better than them. Next season will depend on if they surpass him or not because it’s unlikely he’ll regress that much.

He’s also at least comparable to Gutho, CNK and Bula. Just based on injury history there’s also an argument for Turbo.

Kini, Brimson, Campbell are maybe better but who the f**k knows which position they playing.

Kennedy, Bongwater and maybe Weekes (see how he backs up next year) are probably the next rung definitely ahead of him.

The rest are obvious except the Dolphins. He’s better than Fuller but Hamiso… if he has the ball he’s near the top. Without the ball, he’s lucky to be in NRL
Bongwater 😂😂😂

That's all we really need, imo.

If we can keep Moses fit, we can go deep into the Finals...IF we can keep him fit...
To be honest, this isn't a plan to develop a team upon. If we're going to throw all our hopes on Moses staying fit them we won't be ascending the ladder next year and beyond. I said it before. Penrith have consistently found ways to adapt when Cleary has been out injured. If we can't measure up when things go south because our 'best player' goes down then we're kidding ourselves.

Who are you getting?

Who are you competing with Perth for?

Mate, there's plenty of water to flow down the Parramatta River before next season. It happens every year. Instead of chasing signings I expect them to start chasing us for a change. I can feel it in my waters.

Absolutely I like James Graham as a RL pundit. He is excellent on MMM's Sunday Sin Bin show.
Generally, very measured and has a very smart football brain. Well spoken, knowledgeable and well literate, unlike people like Ennis, Roach and Spud Carroll.

However, I agree with you that he has let his allegiances to the Bulldogs cloud his opinions a little of late. Not good, but honestly not as bad as the media are making out.
He is a very passionate person, as we all saw with his RL playing career.
He also has a great sense of humour and a great ability to discuss league outside of the Dogs with sensibility.
Has this changed my opinion of him as a pundit and professional commentator? Yes, it has somewhat.
However, only a little.
The first 12 minutes of this podcast (which is all I've watched tbh) just shows James Graham and Gordy Tallis just as fans of the game and having an opinion. Just like all of us do on this forum.

I have. Typical of many union converts. Scared of impact. Doesnt chase collisions thats for sure.

you say you cant write him off after one game. After watching that one game, Im pretty sure there is a very solid reason that they waited the entire year before giving him a run. Wouldnt be surprised if it was in his Contract he'd get a game.
He was injured.

If Kautoga continues to build on his form from last year (he had massive improvement from his first game to his last), he could become one of the better edge forwards in the game.

Obviously a small example of games and no guarantees he improves or even comes back as good!

But the kid has huge potential! Is he up to it? It's very exciting!

We've done that though? The signings of Lomax, JAC, Williams, Walker, De Belin show that. While the signings of Da Silva, Papalii, Iongi, Kautoga show we're willing to get guys on the fringe and build them up. And the promotions of Penisini, Talataina, Funa-Iuta, and Talagi show we're also willing to give the young guys a genuine opportunity against opposition that is challenging them.

Plus I think you'll find every fan base wants their players to have a big year or young guys to debut, it isn't exclusively an Eels fan response.

I see everyone that supports or works at the Dogs is now using the easy draw as a reason why they were going so good....

They had Sexton and Mahoney playing those games developing the combination then when the draw got harder they decided to change it all.... It's just stupidity yes long term Galvin is your 6 but the dogs had a real chance this season yo win the competition.
They haven't won a finals match for over a decade. I don't think they were legit contenders this year. Yes they could've done better, but would it have been worth missing out on Galvin?
