Apparently Matt Lodge is leaving Brisbane to come down to Sydney where his partner lives who is pregnant. Is only being paid $700/wk by Broncos (Yeh sure) but NRL have not yet cleared him to play.

Yes I know has been a grub 2 years ago in US but has been exemplary since and not drunk alcohol since that nite. Would be a handy pickup, a big body who knows how to play footy, and be cheap, say $200k pa. Has turned his life around and apparently NRL has hinted he will be allowed to play next year.

Now everyone deserves a second chance, and we are a club that gives players second chances (Ma'u Wicks), so maybe we should look at him.

As I always say, I'm quite certain that Brad Arthur will help effect positive change in the young man with the result being that any of his antisocial behaviour will be fully eradicated.
