Lots of resignations and departures from different parts of the organisation now that the management has changed. Anyone got a back story on any of these?

Has anyone seen the media go so bananas over the removal of a staff member?

The blasts the club is copping on Twitter is ridiculous, it's like this Hugh guy walked on water or something..

Have we lost our 'leaker'?? And the media no longer have an in?

You need to realise that Hugh was the media's go to guy in the club and so they have lost one of their main contacts - the guy that got them in front of the players, BA, etc. They are all just sucking up to him cause the media never like to burn a bridge... the next place he lands might offer free lunches to journo's.

Restructure or whatever they want to call it is a moving feast and always has been

I have worked in banks where they hired people 4 weeks earlier for specialist positions who were at other places for 20 years, then just made a decision to close that area down. Actually my last job saw the media area change so many times, you hardly had time to learn their names

That's modern employment, but can see where the media will always support one of their own, for instance, haven't seen anyone mention Slothfield today, imagine if a player had money put in his account by Hayson ( ignoring Foz currently) shock jocks and the Terrorgraoh would be frothing at the mouth

Umm, restructures are not always driven by financial benefit. Sometimes they are about improving the overall performance of a company, adapting to changes in business operations/processes, matching competitors structures, increasing governance, etc. There are lots of reasons companies restructure.

Seen to be doing something is one of those reasons.

Parra47, If we sign Hayne and BA plays him at 6 next year does that mean:

b) He just has more copies of rugby league week than you?

This is an unsubstantiated rumour but I have heard from a few sources that Brad makes his own RLW and BL each week so not only does he have every copy from 1986 he has some extra special ones.
