Manu was just average this season.

Id say our front row was helped by the power of Taka, Auvau and Semi.....
They helped cover the lack of punch.

Why do you feel BA went for Terepo With no match fitness? He knows atleast he can run with punch and defend at a high level.

He had one poor season - Burgess, SBW, Cordner - they've all had bad seasons. It happens, mate.

If Alvaro and Mannah sre pur starting props for most the season we will finish bottom 8. Im confident of that.
But I reckon that wont be our starting front row.

I reckon Evans will start with Mannah, but by season's end, Mannah Alvaro will replace Mannah imo.

I could see Mannah being moved to 13 to share minutes with Brown tbh.

Melbourne's middle forwards aren't actually that big. Most of them are tall and lean. The only one as heavy as Junior Paulo is NAS, and he's six inches taller than him.

mclean / Bromwich are both around 195 cm / 115 kg (according to their profiles). That's a pretty decent size.

Guys like Frizzel and Vaughn close to the line are used to isolate a player one on one and they score. Even if two players they can bust through.
Give me 100 stats and i do not care. This adds another attacking option. Otherwise you have to go outwide.
Terepo is only guy I feel might bust through the guts. Brown as good as he is doesnt realy penetrate that way. Could you imagine a Brown hit up followed by a Jnr Paulo charge? It could generate 30mtrs and the next play an attacking raid.

Another stat people dont see is the energy they sap trying to stop them. How many times the dogs would score after a Kasiano or Klemmer charge. 2 passes wide and your done.

No one's mentioned which positions we should be spending less on in order to afford these better forwards?
Wow Hindy bagging the squad again, what a shock!!

This is not bagging you f**king melon head. It is ways to improve it too take next step.
1-7 is fine. 11-13 fine.
We need a decent hooker and 1 or 2 better props. A top shelf prop along with a project prop would be fine.
I look at my team and see where failed and what needs to be improved. This is what ive come up with.
