He said it wasn't about playersBUMP.
So was it about Hayne or is there yet another clanger headed our way ?
But surely this is what it was...

But Hayne and the NRL are all scumbagsABC just said that Hayne is getting $2.4m over 2 years. Our offer was $2.4m over 3 years.
When you have the money we have available to spend on players, every single player in the NRL is available to sign.
Don't worry about who has contracts, in fact I'd be targeting players who have contracts.
Cronk to leave Storm ?
by lord do you mean Brian Houston?
My inside information was from the coaching staff. They are in shock as I am. We paid him whilst he was in the NFL. We allowed him to sell his merchandise in our club whilst he was in the States. He categorically promised publically on many occasions that he would return. My 14 year old son is devastated as are many fans. I'm angry because he deceived us.Biggest load of bullshit ever.
So what now, Avy?
Time for another childish tantrum, after which you run away screaming you will never be back, only to slink back in because you need to pretend how "inside" you are so people on the internet can think you're cool?
Money talks, ask the blue and gold hero Hayne or our fans after 2009 if they thought he would leave.
I agree, epwcially after we let him go to chase his dream while he was still being payed by the club.I don't really care that he's not coming back, it's more the principle of the matter. He said he'd be back, if 10:30 comes and it's true, he is a flat out liar.
Colonel is right. If he returned to League I was certain he would be back with us. My sources were as good as you can get.Hedged his bets? He has had a gut feel from the moment the bloke left. Told everyone he would be back.
As much as it sucks right now I knew that he wouldn't play for Parramatta ever again the moment he f**ked off. Just really puts the icing on this f**ked up cake called 2016.
Why would you leave a team with legitimate chances of winning a premiership this year and next for a team that is once again going through a rebuilding phase. Money is one thing. For a player at the end of his career like Cronk, particularly playing for Melbourne, money won't be a worry.
NORMAN and SEMI still not guaranteed to stay. Look for the NRL to give the Dragons an allowance for Semi warchest to be lost to the game and the rest of their ample free cap to sign Norman lol
