I think he saves them all up for Hindy.

None of those guys won a premiership as coach and a few of them are absolute dog shit coaches. I'd be very happy if Madge got the assistant gig but it is a massive step down from someone who has had a fair bit of success.
Stop stealing strider's credit.Im on 85% now.... I created this beast.
The major difference between a coach with a good record and one with a poor record is often the difference between the amount of good and poor players they've had to work with.
Was Des Hasler a good or bad coach?
The main question is, did he have more good players than poor players throughout his coaching career?
Wayne Bennett said the leaders in the playing group are more important than the coach. The major difference between a coach with a good record and one with a poor record is often the difference between the amount of good and poor players they've had to work with.
He made the finals every f**ken year except this year. Also made two grand finals. You would have to say he underachieved at Canterbury.
But he did build that Manly side from the ground up.

And won nothing, might seem harsh but he should of won one title with the squad he had IMO.He made the finals every f**ken year except this year. Also made two grand finals.

Why should he have? There are seven other teams in the finals each year, and the Dogs were never the best of them. And won nothing, might seem harsh but he should of won one title with the squad he had IMO.
Must of fluked the Minor premiership in 2012 then.Should he? Was his squad as good as the Storm or Souths teams that his Dogs team played in those GF's? Did they ever really have one of the top squad of players in the NRL in the time that he was at the Dogs?
There is no way he had as good a squad as the Roosters or Manly of 2013 or the Cowboys or Broncos of 2015 or the Sharks of 2016 or the Storm for most of the time he was at the Dogs
Trouble is by the time he was sacked he had assembled almost the whole roster. Too much money was spent on forwards but had some decent backs but had shit halves. Mbye was well overpaid at $700k and both he and Reynolds were not organisers, even Leichaa was forced to play a game of catch and pass. Again he fell into the trap of backending contracts and overpaying players which used up the cap. Did the same thing at Moanly which the club has only just sorted out.The main question is, did he have more good players than poor players throughout his coaching career?
