His 2016 form was great and he signed a deal thst year.
In 2017 he was no better then Matagi. The Duke was happy to move him on.

The duke does make some odd signings. Hiku comes to mind. I never understood that one with all the junior talent and position filled, Heck even with him gone they struggle to fit in all the backs.

I may be wrong, but I seem to remember you singing the praises of Penrith for signing Hiku in the first place - I also seem to recall you comparing him to our centres at the time (one of which was Jennings), and you thought he was better than our centres.

But maybe I mixed you up with someone else...

Hiku at time was better then our centres at the time. We signed Jennings after we missed out on Hiku. Hiku never given a chance at Penrith. Also had injuries at bad times just like Hoffman at the eels. In that time someone else took there chances.

Hiku was a great player who has been injured. If he gets fit he will do well at NZ.
It was judt odd the Panthers went for him. They must of not rated guys like Waqua Blake and Peachey
