Lets see Hindy as talent spotter for a club to coach: Slater too small, Langer too small, nah I prefer bigger players so lets pass on them coach.Sure..... And then we can offer him the same. Why pay on maybe. He will never demand 800k+ Too small.
Plus we have Gutherson and Hayne.
I like players like Bevan, exciting. But I prefer big players and tougher ones. Id rather all our backs be closer to 100kgs mark. Min 95kgs.
We have a couple of players coming thru who can replace Brown, Ray Stone and Niukore, who will do a good job but maybe not as good as Brown. However they're young and hopefully further develop and they'll probably be even cheaper.Based on whom they play for I'd say Takairangi is on $300k at most but Hurrell could be on $500k. Hurrell is worth slightly more because he is better in attack. Both players are weak links in defence (at least at centre).
Hayne is worth at least $700k, even based on this year's form. At his best he's worth about $1M.
Brown is probably worth whatever we're paying Scott. Will another club offer more? I doubt it, but it's possible. Especially if he hasn't re-signed by the time the comp starts and our early form (and thus his own form) is very good. There's a chance we'll lose him, and thus a chance our fans wig the f**k out.
No player is bigger than our club. Arthur has proven that more than once.

Dream on.Your anus
Did anywhere I say I wouldn't pick him? I just said I wouldnt pay him elite money cause there are weaknesses that potentially can't be fixed due to his physicality untill he is proven.
As of now Bevan has limited ball playing skills and cant cart the ball up hard. He gets rag dolled if he doesnt get low to the ground when he does bring it back.
He is also to light to stop a one on one close to the line.
Well He’s only human. He will definitely take a hefty paycut to play for brisbane
Considering Jenko only played right centre for 8 games to shore up the defence with Moses I'd say it's bs. Arthur confirmed yesterday nobody will be forced out and Hayne will be right centre and Jenko back to leftSurely this is another bull shit story.?

Huge Sunday rumour for you all. Michael Jennings could be set to sign with the Newcastle Knights. This rumour makes sense because Jarryd Hayne is set to play right centre next season which is where Jennings has been playing.
Can you see this signing going ahead?![]()

Same with the rumours popping up today about French and Gutherson leaving to the Tigers loljust ask yourself would BA have signed Hayne if it meant losing Jenko ?
Mate, he's already saved several tries one-on-one on our own line.

He will never be capable of saving tries the way Hayne or Boyd can. Simple physics.
It doesnt stop him from being a topline player. But I doubt he can ever become elite. He would have to be exceptional in every other area to be considered for a NSW or Australian jersey.
