Yeah but barring Semi breaking line his average kick returns weren't significantly better in quality than what Auvaa, Gunco or perhaps Hayne can do
The most underrated part of Semi's game was his ability to receive a penalty when we were working it out of our end.
Yeah I think what OA meant was he received a penalty of being forced into a slow play the ballOpposition teams always gang tackled him and were allowed to more often than not hold him down far longer than should have been allowed.
He got the occasional penalty but way less than we deserved.......
The biggest thing we will miss from Semi is bringing the ball back from a kick return or the play after, particularly if French finds himself back on the wing.
Most potential penalties aren’t blown. It’s why every team would rather risk holding down too long than risk allowing a quick play-the-ball.Opposition teams always gang tackled him and were allowed to more often than not hold him down far longer than should have been allowed.

hayne aren't that bad at bringing back the ball.....not a bad replacement (even if he plays centre he can still bring it back the play after)
Hayne could even drop back as the "winger" with French staying in the line (if French was winger)

He doesn't need to replace his exact position to be a suitable replacement. He just needs to be that strike outside back who can create something out of nothing, which he is. Hayne's go forward isn't as good as Radradra's, but he is at least as good in every other area, and is safer in defence and makes fewer errors. Whether he plays wing or centre, Hayne will be a good replacement. He will provide much of what Radradra used to do for us.That’s my point. If Hayne replaced Semi then I’d say fair enough, but I bet he won’t.
Penalty Broncos Infiniti!!!!Imagine if he played for the f**king Broncos!!
Mate his loss sets us back in the f**kin power rankings ... its a f**kin tragedyWe'll only miss him when we lose. Which won't be often. When we're smashing teams we'll be all like "Sammy whom?"
And Power rankings is all that matters.Mate his loss sets us back in the f**kin power rankings ... its a f**kin tragedy
Agree as he would be used in tandom with the best winger in the game.Semi would be worth even more Power ranking points if he played for Penrith.
You are dead set kidding if you think “90% of his tries most wingers scored”!!
That was the exact think I thought watching the highlights “f**k me no one else does that”.
The length of the field tries after catching the ball on the goal line, catching facing the other tryline spin and get the ball down carrying 3 defenders, flick passes to his inside man.
Hahaha. You are off your head if you genuinely think that.

Mansour is a defensive liability, especially against the kick.Agree as he would be used in tandom with the best winger in the game.
Most of Radradra's kick return breaks came when he isolated a defender out wide. Not from running through the forwards. I agree Auva'a's's charges through the guts are just as good, but he lacks the footwork to skip outside and get one-on-one with an edge defender on a standard hit up.Auvua bring the ball back as good and his general charges are as good or better. Semi on the rare occasions though would bowl the defense over and go 40mtrs. But maybe once every 20 or 25 charges. The rest are no better then Auvaus
