A little girl! I am having a little girl!!

So, those of you that remember my theory on me coming into the world in 81 and starting the golden run therefore my baby girl (due GF weekend eek) hopefully will kick off the same for us this year...

Question, who has shared the Parra / footy love with their daughters. More specifically their daughters that weren't also encouraged by older brothers. Tell me its possible to share that tradition of going to the footy and cheering away our side with a little lady!!

This all said I think Ram is right and Kikau & even Shaun Lane COULD be good players. Kikau's footwork for a big man is particularly impressive. But they were so far from what we lacked on Sunday that mentioning them as players we need is ridiculous. How would of Kikau stopped Blake scoring in the first half? Negating the fact his was in the lead up to it, how would have Kikau stopped the play that led to Moses' binning? He'd have been walking back into position like the majority of his (fitter) teammates

Absolutely it is. I watch footy with my eldest daughter all the time. A couple of years ago she won tickets to an origin match and my wife was pissed when she chose me to take her. I have also been to tests, 1 dayers, big bash and women’s cricket matches with her. She is a state champion cricket player herself so she just loves the game. However it’s not a guarantee. My 2nd daughter hates sport of all kinds except for wwe wrestling. The secret is to share your interests with her from the very beginning but if she drifts away from your interests be involved with hers and you will have a great relationship anyway

I agree with this.
Our attack wasn't the problem in that game. We scored 14 points in pretty quick succession.
It was when we got too tired from doing all that shithouse defending, plus having our halfback off the field for a huge chunk of the game that put an end to our scoring.

Kikau was awesome. Seems like he will be a very good player. But let's give him at least a whole season in FG before we declare him the next Taumololo.

It'll be years down the track before she can even pay attention long enough to comprehend anything about it

The thinking man's sport
Mate I don’t get how she even got into it. She knows so much about it and I’ve never seen her watch it. Apparently she watches it on YouTube. I asked her once if she knew who Rick Flair was and she said yeah his daughter is a wrestler now. John Sena is her favourite though

Having no urgency in defence is what lost us the game. Hopefully there were a bunch of legit reasons for it (Moses on & off, Norman going down at bad time, heat, not pacing selves early, maybe even bad rotations) and they can be fixed or occur less over course of season.
And for every Taumolololololo there's also a Ben Murdoch-Masila
