He'll provide go forward from our middle forwards, which is something that we're not really getting at the moment and probably never will against quality opposition with the current group of middle forwards. We will need to sign much better middle forwards than Vave, but he will add something we don't currently have.

He is bog average. Unless he can last more then 5 minutes fitness wise he is going to have a tough time of it with BA. He was huffing and puffing two minutes into both his stints.

I'm liking the fact that BA has said we have money to chase a specialist half and there is no leaks coming from our club saying he are talking to this player or that player etc etc.
There was a bit of a whisper we are after Reynolds but that was the media putting a player not happy at his club together with a club looking for a player in his position.
I'd like to hear nothing til the day the club is announcing a signing.

Theoretically, and I'm not making any suggestion that this actually happened...but a player on the winning team, knowing who in the losing team was on the take, would know where to send the ball...for example, who to kick to that would then drop it and provide the opportunity to score.

It's no good having guys who would fix a game if they get no opportunity to fix it.

In terms of signings...

...I think we can carry either Robson or de Gois but not both.

So, we need a high quality hooker or a half/fullback (with Gutho filling whichever of those two positions we don't fill with a new signing).

So...Farah with Robson and Gutho at the back, or Hastings/Carney/Reynolds with de Gois and Gutho at the back? Personally, I'd go for Farah and Hoffman, with Gutho in the 6, simply because I think Hoffman is better (less shit?) than the halves options, bar Carney, who might be the longest shot to sign.

I worry that if he lost 10kg, he'd be like Terepo - quick and hard-running, but with minimal impact at the line.

Jennings, Gutherson and Scott are three that immediately spring to mind
Roberts, Copley, Hiku, Lafai and any others involved in the centres roundabout in the offseason.
Sam Burgess was playing rugby, Walker and McQueen were at Souths
Taupau was at the Tigers

We need to think outside the box.
