You see the players as bigger than the clubs, lingard?
I see the notion of following a particular club, as becoming increasingly meaningless - given the salary cap and the constant rotation of players in the NRL. What's your opinion?

We could've won it this year exactly like that.
If we won it this year it would've been due to paying players extra outside the cap, not because we bought a bunch of cheap nuffies that equal out to one good player.

I heard a rumour that because Shark Park is so close to the Airport Semi will be flying in on Saturday and going straight to the game.
Of course his dad can't come to the game or else the taxi and ticket would need to be included in the cap.
Is this serious or are you just trying to be facetious?
You're wrong. Against the likes of Cronulla, Melbourne, Cowboys and Broncos, we wouldn't have gone near the grand final.
You need a couple of superstars to win a comp these days.
Winning a premiership with a good, solid, honest team of 'genuine first-graders' went out in the nine-teen seventies. Besides - we cheated to get the team we've got this year.
And that's mostly due to the Salary cap. It's turned the NRL into a game of musical chairs. I mean, how can you get excited about 'Parramatta players' when they might be 'Cronulla players' next year and 'Souths players' two years after that? What does a 'club' even mean anymore?
Says who? Manly made the finals for ten straight years and won two comps without any genuine superstars.
Absolutely, mate.
And I think it's been exacerbated for me because all my favourite Eels have left/are leaving in such a short space of time. It's devastating.
Who says mau is leaving
Hahahahaha the is a gee up, surely.
We need to keep beau effen Scott though

The manager doesn't decide where the player goes, the player does.
