Im sure you also did too after watching american pie and got ideas.
They make a decent apple pie in Bilpin. I prefer rhubarb and apple.

Getting rid of Norman and replacing him with an inferior player is something Parra are good at.https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/s...s/news-story/36e96d4009f8137649677efdb4b7d899
SHOOSH II
WHICH out-of-town NRL club is making a big play for Corey Norman, much to the delight of Eels officials who are desperate to punt him?
REBEL BACKING
REBEL Sports has jumped on board with the NRL as a major sponsor of grassroots footy, coinciding with the huge growth in female participation.
It’s a coup for rugby league because Rebel boss Erica Berchtold is on the board of Sydney FC in soccer’s A-League. It turns out Erica is also a huge fan of the NRL and particularly Parramatta Eels.

Ah why isn't she on the Parra board then? Aren't these types of professionals who also support the Eels exactly the type we should have on our board?
Also terrible news if true about Corey. We should keep him for at least 2019 considering we have no better options. I don't think Moses is up to it all on his own at this stage, and it will make it very easy for teams to shut us down when they know that he is the main and virtually only playmaker in the team.
.
Depends what the plan is. If it simply Corey OUT, well obviously that doesn't help. If they've got someone else in their sights (not Austin...who would be vast improvement at #14, but not #7), then it might not be a bad thing.
Has anyone posted today's Telegraph story about Ferguson, "Why Ferguson picked Eels over cashed up rivals"? It is behind a firewall.
Yes, well that sounds like a massive BIG IF.
How many good coaches would put up with Norman?Getting rid of Norman and replacing him with an inferior player is something Parra are good at.
What about this as a left field option. Don't punt BA but make him the Manager of Footy Operations. He already has a vested interest in our juniors and is Parra thru and thru. Bring in a new coach who can work with Norman and improve the team overall. That to me is win win for all parties.
I thought you might've meant B-uaia Matagi. And maybe you still do.B-orey Norman
Because even without TPAs our offer was better than theirs.Has anyone posted today's Telegraph story about Ferguson, "Why Ferguson picked Eels over cashed up rivals"? It is behind a firewall.

Disaster waiting to happen if you ask me. Fixing our current deficiencies to only weaken the playmakers, is fool hardy by the coach if true and to add to that we have an average dummy half which will make it an even more conspicuously bad decision. Also see what happens when you don't pickup a bargain like Arron Woods and buy a dud forward like Evans who is languishing in reserves(many of us weren't sold on him)? Makes moving someone like Norman on high wage an easier option. Sure he is a problem child, but he can play and given the right powerful forwards that will create broken spaces he will recapture his mojo and excel. Lets not forget that this is a player that has the ability to lead the Daily M's when playing well.
Also lets not also forget his excellent kicking game even in a shit team. Those repeat sets have made our forwards look better, yes hard to believe, then they would have been had he not been so good at it and they have been terrible for many parts of the season this year. Well lets see where this ends up, but I have a bad feeling that we could be looking forward to 2020 earlier then we want to...again.

Well, they can't seriously be planning to get rid of Norman and not replace him. I'd think they'd be looking for an established older half for a 1-year deal, with the idea of playing Brown in 2020.
Ill disciplined such as Corey Norman? Corey has skills our club needs. He has a year remaining on his contract. We have a great youngster at least a year off NRL.Because even without TPAs our offer was better than theirs.
We are a club that needs to take risks on injury prone and ill-disciplined players in order to get talent into our team at affordable prices.
