Hopefully Sivo? will be in similar mould as Semi. From his highlight reel he definitely runs similar to Semi so what has been holding him back, defence perhaps, catching the high ball? Hopefully he can sort the problems out in the off season, besides Semi wasn't a great defender either. With 2 big wingers we'll certainly be equipped to bring the ball out strongly.

Id say Parry and Dunster are better prospects.

This pack won 29 games the previous two years, and they did it through superior mobility. That’s the benefit of a smaller pack.

If you go to games get yourself sports ears and have a listen to how the refs communicate with the teams. You'll hear a drastic difference in how the ruck is interpreted amongst 2 teams.

Culture is just buzz word excuse. If we win those 8 games that we were equal in tries or lost by a bees dick, it would not even be a topic of discussion.

As @parrathruandthru said, all these drug charges across all clubs are second strike detections or arrests. First strike drug issues are not even reported.

It’s the same in the AFL. Can we stop pretending that you need a squad of nuns to win a comp ?

I think had we won those 8 games you mentioned it would have glossed over the poor culture and lack of accountability I believe is endemic throughout our club, just as it did last year.

Couple of questions...

1. Do you think culture plays little or no part in the success of sporting organisations (obviously not being the only factor)?

2. Do you think our culture is a positive one at present?
