I employ sub-contractors at an agreed rate for an agreed period. Just because they can get more from my competition doesn't mean they have the right to sue me - or that I have to increase their rate. They signed the contract at the agreed rate/term so I am within my rights to hold them to it.

If at the time of agreeing to a development contract Brown thought he deserved an NRL top 30 contract at whatever salary, his manager should have negotiated that with us there and then. He took the gamble.

If I worked for you and a better off come up and was long term I would make somw bullshit up so i was paid up to date and then not return.

We’ve won consecutive games against strong packs plenty of times in recent years.

The fact we didn’t do it in the finals doesn’t mean we couldn’t. If you flip a coin twice and get tails both times you’d be a f**ken idiot to think there’s something wrong with the coin.

As it happens, the Storm and Cowboys spend a lot more on players than we do. O you’d expect them to win more than half the time anyway. That’s not the fault of our forwards.

The pack worked cause Taka,Semi and Auvau who all are like forwards helped out big time. With Ferguson,Jnr and some of thse big young kids and perhaps Evans coming good we have enough big guys. Lanes not small either.

I just reckon given this speculation, the uncertainty around Moses/Norman, the potential availability of Johnson and general lack of other options, we'll definitely see Brown in 1st grade this year.
The only wrinkle is the uncertainty around coach and some magical resurgence of form by current halves.
